I tend to min/max on typing, and I'd say electrode.

Well I intend to give Gengar Thunderbolt and Cloyster will have Ice Beam. Plus Mime currently has Magical Leaf

In playing through HG without an Electric or Ground-type (or even a Pokemon that can have moves of this type), I've deduced that Water, Electric, and Ground are basically must-have types. So Electrode.

Why not Electabuzz? Its certainly no speedster, but its considerably stronger, and doesnt have the likelihood of going down way too easily to any decent physical attack.
