Ao no Kiseki Chapter 3 watched

This has been true for me the whole game, but man Randy and Wazy are so good. Definitely the Top 2 characters in the game (Tio rounds out the Top 3 and where she probably was in a tie with Randy at the top after Zero for me - if not winning, I think they've passed her now.)

Also I should have mentioned this last time but it slipped my mind because I was tired but Chapter 3 also saw perhaps the greatest sidequest in Trails - if not JRPG - history. The fake brand trader returns quest. omfg this was so over-the-top in the best possible way. ouroboros needs to recruit this woman holy **** lmfao.

Actually speaking of over-the-top that one quest in Intermission was too with the Penguins doing a pose with pyrotechnics for their intro lmfao

As for plot stuff lmfao at Rixia talking **** about Arianrhod like she could take her. you lost to ****ing rean sit down. (yes i know that happened later i'm just saying) also duvalie sighting aww yeah. Red Constellation action with Randy and Shirley was super good too. Chapter 4 looks like we're jumping right into it.

CS2 Spoilers: Rean only called in Valimar after the reformat program completed in order to destroy the systems there. Lloyd/Rixia "won" in the sense that they held out long enough to let that program run to completion when Rean/Altina's goal was to stop it, but destroying the terminals if it completed was their plan B objective.

This all happened after the actual Lloyd/Rixia v Rean/Altina fight where Rean basically wins in base form, prompting Altina to go, "shouldn't you actually try." Rean was about to go Ogre/Spirit Unification when the program completed and announced its completion, making the fight irrelevant so he stopped and called Valimar instead.

Every route has some people who leave I think. They can be re recruited

The only people that can leave are:

Lorenz in BL/SS and Ashe in GD/SS. You can get them back by defeating them and selecting the option to persuade them to rejoin.

What I did was buy out the fishing bait every month and wait for a day where you get multiple fish per bait. They are called things like "Lot of Fish" or "Fistful of Fish". After that I tried to focus on fish dishes if possible.

For growing vegetables, I use these gardening configurations:
Cabbage, Albinean Berries, Tomato
5 Root Vegetable Seeds - No cultivation

Chickpeas, Onion, Peach Currant, Turnip
5 Vegetable Seeds - Infuse or higher

Onion, Peach Currant, Verona
5 Eastern Fodlan Seeds - No cultivation

Noa Fruit, Peach Currant
3 Western Fodlan Seeds - Infuse-Airmid water

Cabbage, Carrot, Peach Currant
5 Root Vegetable Seeds - Infuse or higher

Noa Fruit, Carrot
4 Northern Fodlan Seeds - Bonemeal or higher

I'm currently trying to get every support conversation in one playthrough so this might be overkill for you.

Ao no Kiseki Chapter 4 watched

This chapter was crazy. Definitely a strong contender for best Trails chapter up there with ones like SC Chapter 6 and CS2 Intermission. Also nearly at the end of CS1 on the timeline now, specifically on the night of the festival afterparty. Very neat seeing those events from the Crossbell side.

Chapter starts full throttle with the Red Constellation attack which was excellent. Day 2 when all the reveals drop is nuts too. Aions OP. Also, dammit Noel, I've been shipping you with Lloyd cuz you're both such big dorks.

I pre-ordered it back on February 13! Not sure if that was the first day or what, but yeah.

Also, I just did the Leonie/Linhardt Paralogue, and I gotta say that might be my favorite of the bunch. That was really fun.

Precisely. Especially in ARR. Not that I can speak firsthand on the post-release expansions but I've been told again and again that ARR is the weakest part overall because later releases handle gameplay pacing better, etc

Yeah, ARR, especially the pre-Heavensward patches are a real slog. All three expansions range from good to excellent, but that early stuff is definitely rough.

I know theyve talked about reworking it to cut out some of the chaff and streamline the ARR experience, but not sure if theres a real timeline for that.

Someone told me 5.3 is when the big changes will take place, but I don't know how credible that is. Haven't really looked anything up for fear of inadvertently bumping into spoilers.

I think they talked about doing the post-ARR stuff for 5.3, but not the main 1-50 quests. Could be wrong, its been a while since I looked at their roadmap and Ive been more concerned with 5.1 because its only a week away.

Fire Emblem has some good ones, though they didn't really become much of a thing until Awakening.

"PICK A GOD AND PRAY!"

Though for boss banter, Haar (Radiant Dawn in particular) is the GOAT. A lot of them are too spoilery to work with but you got gems like,

Haar: "Why is it that authority figures are always so unwilling to let go of their power? The world could flip upside down and you'd be trying to boss around gravity."
Boss: "You clearly know nothing of me, lout! To oppose me is to oppose the goddess Ashera herself!"
Haar: "That's strange... I always thought that role was filled by the apostle. But who can keep up these days? So you're defending the goddess... but will she do the same for you?"

and

Boss: "He is the last true knight. I will die for him."
Haar: "Yes, [Boss]. You will."

Three Houses has some top tier crit lines. Shit, even Ignatz gets a good one with "Let me paint you a picture!"
