I do, actually. He does his best... but his wife has ended up as a drug addict that just sits in bed all day. He works 10 hours from 9pm-7am then has to come home and take care of his kids until his mom comes over so he can sleep.

He told me he loves his kids but if he had the option to go back and put a condom on (they thought he was shooting blanks. Bad excuse but ) he would.

Yes. And they are all men. I am sure some women feel like that too but it wouldn't want to admit it. Mothers get judged much harsher.

Yeah because ruining whatever life you had before than, to yourself is now devoted to this offspring you likely didn't want. Very few sick tickets plan for kids now a days, weird women in their 40's...

Maybe one guy who left his wife and kids for his secretary. However, even the single parents I know talk about how happy they are to have their kids (although I'm sure some of their exes might regret it, considering they have little or no interaction).

Yes, I know a dude who had like four kids with three different women. He has nothing to do with any of them except for paying child support. He's kind of a piece of shit.

I think people who act like this are either lazy or they treat their children as an external accessory instead of their family. Or they lose their entire identity once they become parents and become resentful they willingly gave up their hobbies just because they had a kid.

I know a dude who had twins and one of them got a rather severe vaccine injury. The kid wakes up screaming in the middle of the night even 5 years later. His life is a living hell now with that sick kid. He was one of the most liberal people I've ever known, but after his kid got fucked up by big pharma, he became super conservative, anti-vaxx and a Jehova's witness.

TLDR; don't have kids.

That makes no sense. Just because people know other who regret having kids doesn't mean that they would.

That's about what I think. A lot of people are just really lazy and wanna sit on their ass. But you can be a devoted parent and still do things you enjoy

While I agree you can, that really depends on how much free time you have. And whether you're a single parent, or part of a couple. Those can actually give you more time. You can still find a baby sitter, though those can cost money. And it's hard for some to trust other people. It's better if you have family. Though some people just... don't... Eh. Like I said, I believe you can still have a life. But it still depends on a lot of other things to determine if you really have the time too. Or if it's safe to do. Whether around the kid, or for your own so the child doesn't lose a parent (or the only parent)... So it also depends on what the hobby is/hobbies are...

Oh yeah, its definitely different for everyone. Some people have a shitty support system. But most people at least have some family who can help out on occasion

Yeah. And if you do have family who can help, its definitely better. But I do understand that it can be very difficult for some. Especially if they became a single parent quickly (whether the other person left without wanting the kid, or a death).

I appreciated my in laws alot more after having kids.

And now my parents are even looking at buying an apartment in our building so they can be around easily without impeding on our personal space by living with us (phew).
