Dusclops is more of a support/defensive pokemon.

Its by no means a horrible attacker but its best when supporting a strong physical attacker with its buffs and by soaking up damage.

Its arguably the strongest Special Attacker and it can mega evolve witn its sync move.

Way I did it:

Delete your save. It's in the Poryphone options somewhere.
Run the tutorial.
You get about 1300 gems.
Sync until empty.
If you don't like what you got, repeat

I got lucky and snagged Houndoom after one reset, and I was only in chapter 2 anyway so nothing really lost from reseting.

._. that just shows the highest rarities essentially. I guess it's most useful for the 4* bunch but from what I've seen, seems like nothing beats 5* dps or support

I took CRASHER WAKE to fight a bunch of Fire types instead of him.

Brock's poor Onyx spent like the entire chapter Burned because I didn't have Barry's Full Heal.

Man. After the first Evo stones, the requirements for evos stone look...annoying. For the big stones you need 300k coins just for 1. And it looks like you can only buy 3 (meaning only 1 third stage Evo) a month?

I don't even know how the system works.

Pretty much when you level a Pokemon enough you'll get a map that says (Pokemon) evolution obtained! So you go to the sync pair stories for the sync pair. There should be an Evo story that you can run if you have enough Evo stones. Once you beat it, your Pokemon evolves

I already got the first gauge extension and saving for the second one but I'm hitting a grind wall real fast. The mats to increase level cap drop in extremely small amounts and are not trivial to farm (the higher levels anyway) and then after increasing level cap you have to farm level books to actually level Pokemon.

I did evolve my Rosa's Snivy into Serperior though this fucking thing has carried my ass so hard.

Most of my matches end up using Serperior, Lucario, and weakness flavor or Seel/Tyranitar if I don't have the specified weakness.

Don't worry about levels. Even level uncap materials are quite easy to farm.

The annoying thing are the Evo mats. I made the mistake of wasting my easy to get ones on Empoleon

I actually got a Gym Leader Notes as a random gift from one of my sync teams in the lobby. Probably extremely rare for that though.

I wanted to grind for them to raise my nukers up to Lv100 first, but the way the AI seems to be, you need to raise a support up first or else the AI will target the attackers. At least that's how it was when my Maylene and Cheryl were at Lv60/65 and my Kris was at Lv85. It wasn't until they got to Lv75/80 that the AI started attacking them instead.

As an aside, I've found that Phoebe and Cheryl or Roxanne supporting Will's Xatu makes for a pretty good general team for clearing up the VH Supercourses. Will can confuse the entire enemy team, while your supports buff him up and tank attacks, then after using Will's sync move, he can basically sweep freely. Just be aware not to use "Our Power Is Limitless" after buffing him up, since it seems that he doesn't raise the stats that the opponent has buffed by double, he makes it equal to double, which could lower your stats if they have them raised by lower than his own.

My standard mat farming team for non-Super courses is still Kris/Maylene/Sygna Suit Brock though, since the VH courses can be done in 6 moves, and the Hard courses in 5.

I use Swanna/Servine/Alolan Raichu and I can't pass most Very Hard Supercourses. Everyone is 70-85

Very Hard Supercourses can drop Gym Leader Notes as bonus drops too, apparently, as I just got one. Guess I'll make sure to do all of them that pop up. I presume that was also the case with the Hard Co-Op battles that you suggested earlier, aye? @Veggeta_MAX

Here's pretty much what I did

Use Snivy/Piplup/Filler.

Grind story. What you'll want is to get to chapter 6. You get Swanna from Ch5 who'll be your third member and then Lucario who you'll interchange with Piplup depending on content. Level everyone up accordingly and don't be afraid to uncap because everything is easily farmable. Whatever you do tho, DONT evolve Piplup. You can level him to holy hell but wasting Evo mats on him is bad because he's not good/great mid to late game. Evo Snivy because it's a staple in a lot of teams as a supporter and it's tanky af.

Your end goal will be to get to chapter 11 where you pick up Alolan Raichu and your team will be Swanna/Serperior/Raichu
