What did it mean to be an Ancient Greek Geek? Like, did they say "isosceles" in every other sentence? Was it really just math that they could geek out about? Did they memorize mythology? Or did they talk about how geeks before them didn't have anything? Like maybe someone invented some sort of collectable figure game, and the rules and knowledge of it is completely forgotten. And all physical evidence is just assumed to be artwork or other artifacts. For that matter, what do you think future archaeologists will think of all the leftover pokemon cards and toys they'll dig up. I would presume it was somewhat similar to chess.
