What rules do you have that resulted in this? My work league is full PPR with small bonuses for every 100 yards and they both went for 40-45

I just now looked into the scoring settings for this league in detail. I was asked to join last minute as a favor so hadn't checked before.

So...yeah the bonuses are kinda ridiculous lmao

+3 at 300 passing yards
+4 at 400 passing yards
+2 for 40+ yard passing TD

+5 at 100 rushing yards
+10 at 200 rushing yards
+5 for 40+ yard rushing TD

+5 at 100 receiving yards
+10 at 200 reveiving yards
+5 for 40+ yard receiving TD

Who's ready to watch Chubb and Landry combine for 71 tonight?

Is this trade too insane even for a team that's 0-5 and can't afford to go another day without getting a WR?

my RBs then would be: Chubb, Gordon, K. Johnson, Hyde

My WRs then would be: Kupp, Juju, Diggs (barf), Anderson

Kupp is a Top 5 fantasy WR. You still have a Top 5 RB option in Chubb and will be getting Kerryon in the deal who has been pretty solid this year and you won't have to deal with his Bye week while Zeke still has his coming up. If Gordon can get going I'd say that's a solid lineup. So yeah, don't think that's a crazy trade at all.

I'd also probably try and sell high on JuJu and see if anyone bites. I'm not high on any WR who's going to be playing with a 3rd string QB regardless of how talented they are.

I bet on Baker and OBJ.

my draft went kamara cook kelce out of the 3 spot. godwin i got in round 6 or 7 i think. was able to flip cam and a bench guy for matt ryan before week one, and then turned him into deshaun. a guy offered me mack for michel straight up after like week 3 which i jumped on. the pats d i got off waivers in week 2 which has been amazing. and Dhop i scored with diggs, mclaurin, and shady as the guy was down to literally dhop as his functioning receivers after injuries

First game since week 2 that I'm projected to win. Opponent's two starting RBs are on bye.

My RB exits the game with 2 points and his chase edmunds has 35 points in the third quarter.

To hell with this season. Goodness.

Was going to start Lazard in my Flex with all these byes but saw that MVS and Allison were playing which prompted me to say fuck it and start both Johnson and Edmunds. Looks like that was a good call even if Johnson did nothing!

Would've definitely started him over Sony (even considering the matchup) if I'd noticed and grabbed him. Didn't really need it this week because I wound up with Edmunds somehow

seven rostered, three not playing due to injury + one on bye (And I dropped a second that was on bye so that I could actually field three WRs this week but considering I got a literal 0 from Pettis it functionally made no difference)

i had an okay outing today. secured the victory today with 110 points and still have james white and pats d left to play. sad that kamara couldnt put in work and mack was not the greatest fill in but it worked out. wont have Nuk joining me until next week as the i played the guy i got him from this week. gonna be lovely running him and godwin out next time.

also i would like to give a nice farewell to stefon diggs. while you were total ass all year, you were amazing last week and helped me secure the deandre hopkins bag as a result, and you made one last start for me today after riding the bench for a few weeks and made me actually not regret it for the first time this season. so long buddy.

I have Nugent and Dorsett in a couple places, considering dropping them for players on bye (Curtis Samuel, AB, etc)

So, being in the desperate situation I was in, I decided to do this. Didn't feel great about it but it was exciting and risky and I felt like I just had to do something to give myself a chance. And if it worked out even decently I'd feel 100x better about my team.

Since the trade:

-Kupp and Johnson have combined for 28 points total across two weeks.
-Zeke has scored 26 points in both weeks individually
-Johnson is now injured and will miss multiple weeks

On the bright side I might advance to 1-6 if I'm lucky tonight.

Oof. Yeah no accounting for injuries but even with the Rams not being as good as last year, Kupp was producing. Still think he'll be fine but the Johnson injury does suck. And Gordon doesn't seem like he's going to get going either. =/

White had a TD rush called back, a catch where he went out of bounds at the 3 inch line, and another catch where he got shoestring tackled around the 20 or so that would've been a certain TD if he kept his balance.

Any one of those plays succeeding would have made me lose. :)

Trade Zeke for Fournette or Bell?

I've got the following RBs- Zeke, Kerryon, David Montgomery, Miles Sanders, Duke Johnson, Malcolm Brown, Darrell Henderson

Basically, I'm starting garbage at RB this week because Zeke is on a bye and Kerryon is out. I'm 2-5 and need a win.

Straight up? Mm probably not but the record complicates matters since you really do need a win. I'd definitely take Fournette over Bell. But trading for Fournette will just delay your RB bye week problem as Fournette has his bye coming up soon. Could you try trading Zeke and for Fournette/Bell and a lesser RB, someone in the Royce Freeman range maybe?

Alternatively, I'd just stay pat. After getting blasted by everyone for running like fewer than 10 times or whatever I'm feeling good about the Bears getting Montgomery going on the ground (or that's just the optimistic Bears fan in me...). Duke Johnson seems to have a solid floor of 5 points and I don't like Sanders' matchup against the Bills. Or just play one of the Rams backups since they're going against the worst run defense in the league this week.

i love the hell out of my team but i have the itch to make one last move to make my flex more of a strength. right now it sits with james white as the main stay with robert woods and marlon mack as backup and damien williams as a last resort. the only annoyong thing is half my league doesnt seem to ever respond to trades and the other half dont want to make my team any better than it already is.

I would assume anyone put on the IR this late in the season is out for the year. Could be wrong.

Oh, true. I did see "hope he comes back" in the team's announcement and assumed it wasn't a season ender.

And technically, it's not! But apparently rules are that he can't come back before week 16 so that's very not fantasy relevant.

I'm 2-5 in my main league and basically need to run the table. My two starting RBs were Zeke (Bye) and Kerryon (IR)

I need a win. Am I crazy for trading Zeke for Jacobs (starter past his bye week) and Ty Johnson (Kerryon replacement)?

I think you can get more than Ty alongside Jacobs, but I'm also not a believer in him getting the bulk of the workload. I 100% see the Lions signing CJ, Ajayi, or some other free agent RB to help split the carries and provide stability in case Ty ain't it.

Trying to move Zeke here is not crazy in concept though, given your situation.

If you need to literally run the table, I advise not trading Zeke.

But I'm probably a little bitter. I mean biased.

Like, probably better off hoping you can pull off 1 win via luck or a fluke this week and have such a good asset as zeke the rest of the other 5-6 games that are also must win.

Or at least try to get something better. I doubt Ty Johnson is gonna do a lot.

im eyeing my week 10 matchup against a guy who is currently 4-3 but definitely has the 2nd best team in the league behind mine. deshaun watson has a bye that week so im out at quarterback and want to make my claim now because hes a good enough player to snipe up the one id want a few weeks in advance.

Winston's the best matchup with the best WRs but he's such a coinflip player that I'm not sure I could bring myself to do it.

Winston if you can stomach the risk > Stafford >= Cousins > Jimmy G I think

as for this week the kid dalvins already got me off to a great start. my opponent is 7 and 0 but her team is honestly kinda garbage and seems to always win by 5 no matter if her opponents score 70 or 170. the only real frightening thing on her squad is CMC and i think san fran can keep him in the 20s at most. im hoping anyway
