Sometimes I don't understand people.

* Person whines about getting Cam Newton via autodraft and he's trash
* I didn't pay attention and drafted 2 QBs with same bye week (late season so likely didn't matter)
* I offer the person Cousins for Newton and we can switch a WR or something to balance the trade. They decline
* I drop Cousins for Rudolph (16 team league, QB2 depth sucks)
* Person immediately drops Newton for Cousins on waivers

Like just do the fucking trade and don't waste your waiver order (they were #1 waiver)

Convince me against running John Brown instead of Brandin Cooks.

Cooks is more big play dependent and hasn't gotten a fair target share, and is going against Browns.

John Brown has 7 receptions in both games so far this season, and gets the Bengals.

Could run both, but I'd be dropping either Frank Gore, Chubb, or Ekeler for it, and none of those are attractive options to not run.

In my two leagues I used the exact same source material and strategy, etc. while drafting. In one league I'm 0-3, dead last in points (out of 10) and in the other I'm 2-1, 2nd in points (out of 12). Good shit! I swear my 0-3 team is going to turn it around any day now...

Fuck, what an awful game by Gurley. I was feeling pretty good about my chances heading into Sunday night but now I'm only up by 10.4 heading into Monday night and he has Allen Robinson left to play. As a Bears fan, I'm hoping the other Bears players get in on the action instead this week...

Also, I hate my work league. I feel like I drafted very well this year and last year and I'm going to start 0-3 again. My team is good! Ryan/Julio stack, Kittle, and Chubb are a good core and my complimentary players are fine too and my opponent scored 175 this week! Last year I was probably the only person who drafted Gurley and missed the playoffs (it was my first time doing a 10 team league though but still). Grrr...oh well, at least I made some money in daily fantasy today.

Might get my first win in the B8 league after starting the season against literally the top 3 highest scoring teams.

People who know more about the bucs than I do, how do we feel about Evans(/Winston) moving forward? Will he be pretty reliable?

I want to leverage my RB depth and take advantage of the Saquon injury to improve my WR situation (Diggs...) but Evans is the only remotely desirable WR on the Barkley owner's team. Kind of afraid as soon as I make the trade Winston will suck again and Diggs will bounce back.

Oh dorsett is on waivers. Maybe I just blow a ton of FAAB on him.

Work league is silly.

Last year, I led the league in both points scored and wins. Lost in the championship.

This year I'm obviously out to a shitty start at 0-3. But that doesn't slow down my posts in the smack talk chat one bit. I posted this morning how I've just been waiting for a worthy opponent before I show my true strength (my opponents so far have been 0-0, 0-1, and 0-2), and the guy who beat me in the championship last year seems to be taking it seriously.

Next week I face the only team that's gonna be 3-0 so I really hope I win, if only to keep the trolling alive.

I benched Godwin in two leagues because I didn't have a good backup plan.

Turns out I'm going to win one of those leagues by like 10 and I lost the other league by 36 points, but would've only lost by 0.6 points if I'd started Godwin, so it didn't matter.

I too benched Godwin in two leagues. For Curtis Samuel in both actually. One of those teams still scored over 150 points and the other put up a very decent 115 with Pittsburgh's defense still to play. Comfortable wins in both leagues so glad that mistake didn't cost me!

There must be some kind of karmic balance behind it all. In my other league, I will win as long as Tyler Boyd stays under 80 points. Lol

I'll move to 2-2 in my work league as long as Ross doesn't outscore Juju + Pitt DST by 57

On the other hand, I'm taking my first L in this league unless Dalton + Pitt DST + Two IDPs outscore Conner by 41 oops

I'm tempted to start both Ekeler and Gordon this week.

I have no idea what I'm gonna do this week.

Adams is out and I can't trust Juju at all this week, but my other WRs are Josh Gordon, Tyrell Williams and Robby Anderson.

My RBs are Chris Carson (who I think will be fine), James White (#PPR), Ekeler and Darrel Williams. I think I go Carson+Ekeler+White/Gordon+Williams, with Anderson over Gordon if Darnold plays and Williams maybe over Ekeler if Damien Williams is still out (or LeSean McCoy has a setback and doesn't play)? Maybe?

Game's fucking hard. Starting both Ekeler and Gordon in your case sounds fine. Guaranteed value in what looks like a good matchup.

(Alternatively, the primary waiver WR options are Beasley, Sanu, Diontae Johnson, and Geronimo Allison. That Beasley floor is looking pretty nice right about now...)

Beasley keeps his floor even against the Pats. If the Bills offensive playcalling gets any better, he should be seeing some TD's soon.

Mark Ingram - 135 yards, 3 TDs
Alvin Kamara - 161 yards, 2 TDs
Keenan Allen - 183 yards, 2 TDs
Tyler Lockett- 154 yards, 1 TD
Austin Hooper - 66 yards, 2 TDs
Lesean McCoy - 80 yards, 2 TDs
Justin Tucker - 1 FG, 1 XP

Then we play 3 IDPs instead of a defense but I know that isn't the norm. So if you exclude those 3 from his score he's at 250+ points without a defense

Yeah even if Winston has been good I would go with Rodgers because the Saints Defense looked amazing the last couple of games

Sure but when considering fantasy QB points I don't really care about punt return TDs or fumble return TDs. They definitely did better against Dallas.

I guess I just don't see reason to think Rodgers is a lock to have a great game in Dallas with Adams out. Also Winston might be likelier to have a positive game script for fantasy purposes.

You know how some WRs are total boom/bust plays? Guys like DeSean Jackson and even Tyreek Hill?
