This but diet and I love the smell of coffee but the sheer amount of sugar I gotta put in to it to make me like the taste makes regular mt dew look healthy by comparison.

Typically it's iced tea. Occassionally it will be an energy drink. Rockstar punched or a hardcore apple are my first choice. Monster's mango loco is pretty damn tasty. The Full Throttle in the black can is also good.

For tea I usually make it one cup at a time. I use one of those oversized coffee house type mugs, the ones that look like a large bowl with a handle on the side, I put 5 tea bags in that with just enough sugar to cut the bitterness.

I have a jar of vanilla cappuchino powder from Sam's Club. I dissolve the powder (plus an optional teaspoon or two of instant coffee if I want a bigger hit) in a little bit of hot water, then I add ice cubes to cool it down, then fill the glass the rest of the way with milk.

Sometimes I make matcha au lait. I take a couple spoons of matcha (powdered green tea) and add it to some hot water along with sweetener (usually a mix of sugar, stevia, monk fruit and sucralose, mixed together the negative flavors cancel out), then I add ice cubes to cool it down, and finally fill the glass with milk. You have to stir it occasionally because unlike instant coffee, matcha doesn't actually dissolve in water, it just creates a suspension which will slowly settle out.

I have a box of energy shots from Costco that I use when I'm in a hurry and can't have my usual drinks.

I also carry a bottle of caffeine pills in my tool bag for use when I'm on the road. It doesn't require any refrigeration or preparation, I just need a sip of water.

Mostly iced coffee cause I live in a warm area, then hot coffee and tea. I'd drink cold tea more if it was as easy as instant coffee.
I prefer the strong taste of coffee.

If I'm doing it for the caffeine, hot coffee. Usually a latt, espresso makes my head ache nowadays despite having had an 8-mug-a-day (instant plus sugar & milk) habit during college. I used to take a Thermos of coffee with me to school from about age 14 onwards, too. I got tired of the caffeine withdrawal headaches when I'd miss a mug, I hardly drink coffee at all nowadays. It's mostly tea for me now.
