Ok, you're walking alone one day when you pass by an alleyway with some dumpsters... you weren't even considering going down the alleyway when you are pushed/pulled/whatever into the alleyway by someone with their jacket pulled over their face and they start to stab you...

They would have just stabbed you like 20 times and took all your stuff, but by some stroke of luck the knife malfunctions on the first stab. Perhaps the handle gut stuck in your dermis, maybe the blade got corked on something you ate - that doesn't matter. All that matters is you now have a knife stuck in your stomach and you are angry.

You immediately kung-fu/wrestling the attacker down; perhaps you saw a move on TV or have taken a self-defense course or something, but in any case you manage to swiftly flip the situation and you are now sitting on the attacker's back, on the ground. You pull out your phone and call 911 or applicable for your country.

The police arrive, they find you - you're sitting on the attacker's back and bleeding all over (stemmed by the fact the knife is stuck). The police tell you to put your hands up. Ok, you're mad, but this is still reasonable... they don't know the situation, it's a fair safety move. You put your hands up.

But then... the police draw their guns and tell you to drop the knife.

I'll grab the attacker and put his body between me and the police officers, then rush them. Throwing the body into one officer as I get close, grabbing the other's gun arm and snapping it, then thrusting one hand into his throat, while hitting him hard in the solar plexus with the other.

I'll turn towards the other officer and kick his gun arm, disarming him, then shoot him three times in the head with the gun the other officer just dropped.

Finally I'll ensure the attacker is dead (if either of the officers even shot at me), by snapping his neck. I'll take the gun with me to dispose of later, cover the knife with clothing so it's not easily seen, and go get some supplies to remove it and pack the wound afterwards.

If anything internal was damaged, I'll asses how badly and if I can last 10+ hours before getting to a hospital, if so I will drive quite a distance away before checking into an emergency room in a big city, and claming to have been attacked and mugged while visiting.

It's pretty well lodged - you're bleeding, yes, but not profusely... as long as the knife stays in.

Die from going septic from internal bleeding and potential organ puncturing.

Otherwise tell the cops the knife is lodged in my stomach because I was stabbed. When I arrested people there was enough time to talk to me.

Lay on my back, on top of the attacker, arms out, and say, "the knife is stuck".

This is where you lose me, because in the heat of the moment I'd probably just stab the shit out of them and then run away. If I'm wounded I'm leaving to find a hospital, if I'm not (and not covered in blood) I'm just leaving in general.

The kind of person who tries to stab random strangers multiple times for absolutely no reason aren't going to go to the cops, so I would assume I don't have to worry about getting caught.
