The 4th is a bit of a strange day for us, my dad's birthday is the 3rd so if we make plans it's usually the day before, also the 4th is the anniversary of the car wreck that nearly killed all of us. We usually just hang out together and try to get along. Also, the neighborhood is full of people having cookouts, parties, and all around good times. There may be a fight when they get drunk enough, but that's any party really.
