Sorry been busy at work and then went to watch Spider-Man. Just caught up. So for the purpose of preventing flavour scans Id say mary shelley is the weakest claim.
If the role is Frankenstein or Frankensteins creature then the flavour would likely be negative and the player hides behind oh no Im the author not the actual character.

I did it randomly to satirize people who thought it mattered. Most of my quips usually have some game thought implied.

Same with Sam I am. Who hates everything right.

How many villagers do we think are in a standardish setup of 21? I count 12 claims + reveals which seems on the high side. I think at least 2, maybe 3 of our villagers are lying town, which may clear all the remaining villagers but maybe not.

I don't think he's scum though. I think he's just more concerned with "aha! look at these deductions I made!" than winning the game at this point. There's no reason to laser focus that hard on you that long unless he was legit having doubts on you. Which I guess could be the case we did manage to get some support on you.

So more thoughts on Ben;

Hes telling the truth and has two guilty scans. Reasons why this is unlikely. He kept two guilty scans to himself with 2 scum dead because he wanted more scans and assumed hed be safe. Horrible reasoning and a terrible risk.
He also allowed claimed bg to go to a tie with MZero because he was ok with MZero or Sbell dying. I think that was the reason right? Then after MZero flipped he scanned Tom not SBell.
When Cam voted pez he got excited and voted pez too, only to hop off later with a lame I tried. Except hes literally claiming cop with a guilty scab on pez. How did you try when you held that information back?

Option 2) hes lying town and really really suspects pez. So much so that hes willing to gamble this big even after being given an out by pez himself to back off.
Unlikely because hed surely have backed off and tried to get pez later instead of potentially suiciding.

Option 3) hes lying scum. This is a ploy to try and get the protection off the confirmed scanner so they can either kill the scanner or one of the protection.

I think 3 is the most likely because 1 is a multitude of horrible decisions that just dont make sense. 2 is an unnecessary risk after being given an out. Now, I think if it is option 3 that Ben would give us at least 1 scum.

Honestly I'm kinda surprised that Pez was the only one (it seems) to pick up on all that- I don't think I was doing a great job of being subtle (partially because I wanted scum to think I was doc or something)

If we dont believe him and hes lynched then his guilty scans look less guilty.
If we do believe him and he has two town players as guilty then he trades 1 for 1 at best.
If we do believe him and he gives us a scum then he can use the extra time to clear more scum or frame more town.

So Im guessing either pez or death are scum but not likely both.

It really ceases being a viable scum gambit if only one of the two are scum. Unless you're saying you think he's going to try to force a lynch on the town of the two and indirectly clear his scummate when it fails.

like if you go back and look at some of the interactions we mentioned it's pretty clear that pez is on to me in some capacity, and I think VaugeTownProtection!Tom is a lot more attractive option for scum (especially scum with pez on it) than ObviousProtectionTarget!5tar.

So I think if we go through the scum list we probably win. I think Ben screwed up and towncleared 3. Tom I think he cleared as town to get people looking at him once Ben inevitably is found out, as Tom has had suspicion from many, or to do a stupid "no I must have been insane!!" play.

I think lynching Ben is probably the +EV play the more and more I think about it. If he's lying scum, which seems more way likely at this point, you have no mislynches and don't distract the doc. If he's telling the truth, the flip tells us and we bag his two scum scans anyway.

If Lolo doesn't die and flip bodyguard, Lolo is almost certainly scum, and the non-kill is almost certainly Cam being recruited, meaning kill him too.

Then it's basically down to SBell and Corrik, which you can just go for them. The game is close enough to solved at that point that you can just sorta shotgun the suspects.
