My opinions don't always sync up with the majority a lot but I thought that shit was a huuuuge decline. During the last episode I was convinced they forgot who their audience was. My cousin mentioned how it was like a disney movie with cussing, which I thought was dead on.

The 1st episode was funny but just weird with nothing actually cool outside of their cellphones, which weren't even part of the store. They were pretty self explanatory anyway

I believe in the message of the 2nd episode but it wasn't anything special at all. And homeboy Goblin just showed why he shouldn't be in the entertainment business like always FOREMAN. Dude played the right role in 70s show and was never properly casted again. His emotional range is bad.

I'm interested in outside opinions. Comment on mine or ignore them and state your own, appreciate it.

I didn't really put any spoilers aside from 1 underwhelming actor being in it

Yeah, I have nothing negative to say about him. The episode on the other had was a drag, and the ending was bad.

Speaking of endings, what the hell was even the ending to the 1st episode? I did not understand that at all. she gave him a matchbox presumably with the wedding ring in it and then went on a date while he went to go fuck his friend online again?

I enjoyed it as a more grounded Black Mirror season. I liked the 3rd episode a lot and the first episode brought up a lot of conversation. The second episode was my least favorite only because the premise was dumb. The credits scene was great though imo.

They agreed to have a cheat day, presumably once a month. So she goes to fuck a guy at a bar and homeboy gets down with his homie

it was really poorly written. like the writing was legitimately lazy; the only thing that would have really justified the episode would have been an actual confrontation with his wife so that the audience gets to actually see what the entire episode has been building up to. but instead they skip past the pay off and show us what happens after the emotional climax.

the endings letting me down were the only constant of the season for me. If their new thing is bad closure than that's just great

I thought the second ending was kinda brilliant.

You see this struggle for life between these two guys, one that you have been invested in for an hour or whatever. Then you don't see what happens and everyone just checks their phone and then puts it away. Showing that to everyone else, it was just another notification.

nah, that first one was really bad imo, like not just for black mirror, it was just not a well written piece

the second one was carried by the actor, and that ending did fit

the third one was better than the first if anything, at least it knew what it was trying to do (revive miley cyrus I think)

I forgot who but some user on here said episode 2 was symbolism of someone doing desperate things to talk to God and trying to find answers for something going so wrong in their life.

I thought it was both the only season without any god-tier episodes and also the only season without any "wow that was pretty bad" episodes (outside of Season 1).

Thought all three were solid middle-tier entries.

It was either me or someone who agrees with me.

The guy tries to reach out the whole episode to confess to god, to look for answers, to hold him to account. He finally achieves the impossible and makes contact, only for God to say "I don't know what to tell you... it wasn't supposed to be this way. It's all spiraled out of my control and now I'm just some bullshit frontman for people who use my image in their interests. I'm sorry." Ultimately, he sighs, and his eyes close again to end the episode.
