Well to be fair i tried to make the meta not to obvious i figured yeah roman as vanilla isnt 100% Believable. Big E being a power wasnt nessisarily super believable as well. I guess Miz was maybe to Obvious Miller but up until recently he was a heel and he isnt even that good as a face but oh well i suppose. And bigshow was actually used almost to the extent i was thinking someone using that as if they knew the flavor and i give @ScareChan alot of props for having the balls and knowledge to do that

I know I only have 1 loss and it was in my first game. And it was annoying as shit because I was killed by Mafia for listing their entire team as scum during a tiebreaker at Mylo. Everybody thought it was weird that the newbie was killed but nobody looked at my scum list and just wrote it off as 'Oh they thought he was Cop or tracker, good job SE!' when I was vanilla and didn't breadcrumb anything else as I was a newbie and didn't even think to do that.

That being said, I haven't played a ton of games

-I legit didn't know what POE or ISO was and still have no idea how that was supposed to make me scum. (I had an idea on ISO but I thought maybe there was an extension to find the posts for you or smth)
-stop taking posts seriously after I say not to take them seriously...I don't even remember what the joke was but people kept trying to meta it even after I was dead
-bummed that corrik is the one being run off here
-Also I put so much into breadcrumbing Undertaker, TOWN BP and then SBell had to go and claim BG and flip BP, messing with that AND my backup plan of Lawler BG >_>

Man final 3 is stressful

It's so funny to look back and see how within 5 minutes of day starting I was like "it's just red because obviously" but yet I had to go in circles for 48 hours after that

Shewwww I don't want to miss han's game but after that long one and plus the fact I'm gonna be on vacation, seems like a good time to take a rest

The best thing I can say is that if you have two guys that just seem like they are accomplishing nothing, lynch the better player.

I didn't have confidence in who it would be. I had some vague reasoning that the NK would suggest red more than the others but it wasn't firm. I also had some strange idea that Sultan would confirm no millers to the scum team which would allow Mzero to cruise with that. Puns felt like he was playing the way I'd play in this game so it was east -for me- to think of him as town but again never really confident.

Poe is process of elimination. Iso is just I seek out or isolating. To my knowledge. Means they are looking specifically at the person they are isoing's posts.

Play with more town objectives earlier in the game. When you lurk, timezones or not, you become a big distraction for town and a big target for both town and scum. You totally came out as obvtown at the end, but before that, you were also supposedly inexperienced town that was mostly lurking yet calling other people "bad town". Corrik's suspicion of you was totally warranted.

And being mislynched isn't the be-all-end-all for town. Like puns said, not all mislynches are created equally. If you can help town out and then become mislynched, you can provide a big pile of knowledge and confirmed perspective. Ultimately you helped town achieve a win. Did you have fun?

ALSO if you accidentally end a day early, you need to do some sort of extension because so many things can happen in the final two minutes.

This is something we discussed. I offered up a 30 min period for people to voice grievance and no one spoke up so just kind of went with it all stuff to be noted for if i do ever run another game

Sultan, how did you even jump the gun on the stop? I would think posting the stop at exactly the second it ends isn't a priority anyways. The end time is the end time. You shouldn't need to be there to post stop for people to stop posting at the time.

If you are feeling upset (you are entitled to your own feelings) you still have to make the choice of reacting in a way that will make the game/community better, or at least not make things worse.

And I don't see why you let someone chase people out of the community and reward them for it. You're only supporting that and encouraging more of it.

You have to understand that Ulti is playing a real life mafia game. He tries to find a target that people are okay with him breaking the rules with in regards to. As scum would find a weak town target to mislynch. Then he butters up the others involved with praise. Just as scum does to town when they want to bring town to their side on a matter.

It is a repeated cycle over and over. When he had issues with DreamGoddess and a couple of others, wanted me to listen to him in mafia,
wanted support to being unbanned and allowed to try again, or wanted me to play in the games he hosted because he wanted them active, he used to sit there and do the same praise me things over and over also.

And, I listened to him a few times and vouched for him. At some point though it has become obvious that there is not sincere intent however.

The personal attacks aside, which I still don't even understand. Ulti broke multiple rules during the game itself that had nothing to do with me also. This is a lack of respect to everyone in the game itself. There is a difference between playing to win and using everything afforded to you in the game at your disposal to win, and trying to break the rules purposely to win (but I am not even sure the endpoint there was trying to win either.)

I will say from an outsiders perspective that Ulti's behavior was terrible and whilst he may have apologized for it, this isn't an isolated incident. This seems to be his go to whenever things are not going his way.

Belittling everyone elses play and personal attacks absolutely should not be allowed or condoned. Even minor stuff like calling everyone else (in general) trash and the worst at mafia / etc shouldn't be allowed and should be an insta modkill when it comes to Ulti at this point just because of how often he does it. And any actual personal attack should be a ban.

I feel like it boils down to one thing. Ulti is hyper competitive and that escalates into being a sore loser when things don't go his way.

Corrik7, I'm sorry for my failure as a cohost for not taking a harder stance this game when it came to Ulti, instead deferring to Sultan, and I thank him for modkilling him.

Obellisk, I'm sorry about the early stop d1 once again. If I hadn't caught it within the minute, I'd probably have recommended a 5 or 10 minute extension right away, but you were right that the improper stop did not allot the time to get the topic back on track even with the quick undo; people don't mess with stops. Even if Sultan was the initial cause of the early stop; I was hoping the quick turnaround to get it back on track would be enough, but I'm sorry it wasn't. So, really, I feel like the fact that this did not get a proper extension is more my fault than his, as that was definitely what I was advising at that time. I will make sure to give an extension in the future.

Sultan, thank you for hosting. You may want a more experienced cohost next time, but it was for the most part fun.

There was unfortunately no way you could have corrected the early stop. If you added time, it would have let people have extra time to analyze their votes and change them that they wouldn't have had.

What if Red gets lynched there because of it?

Like, I don't know what acceptable option you had at that point. It just was what it was. Sucks for Sbell, but I mean....what could they do? Scum was propping your lynch up anyways with scum as the second highest. And, red self-admittedly was lurking to self-preserve vote. It was unlikely to be a different result, and had no satisfactory option to resolve it.

I was never banned in the first place, and its really weird people just ignore Corriks behavior. Like there are PLENTY of people that dont like him being around.

The people who said your behavior was wrong includes:

And possibly more I missed. This included people both in game and neutral unbiased observers.

Whether you think I am unliked or not wanted around, does not give you free reign to do the things you did in game.

Not to mention that you continued it while I was still playing in game in the dead chat. As well as attacked me again personally when I entered the dead chat upon death there. Your behavior was not a spur of the moment boiling over. It was a well aware consistent on going behavior ranging from breaking of mafia rules and personal attacks that had zero place in mafia.

Nobody cares if you say someone sucks at mafia or is being bad at the game. It's a game of deception and uninformed puzzling. People can be wrong or purposely be wrong. It is part of the game. Thus, no one cares for such rhetoric and criticism because it can have a place as valid or viable. However, personal attacks and breaking of rules of the game are not things that you can justify. They are just flat out unacceptable. No matter the loops you go through to deem it as alright.

Wanted to say you played a good game. Understand that the comments I made at the end were 95% fueled by paranoia and nerves. You actually did great to throw down the correct vote without a lot of fear so well played.

My plan for last day was to just spend the whole day dumping my thoughts without much of a filter. Hope the other town could see I was town. Then in the last 2 hours I just ISO'd my own thoughts and said this is what I'm going with no matter what behavior looks like from the other two. But damn if your disappearing act followed by a hollow vote didn't make me tier 9 paranoid lol.

No epiphany Mzero had to be scum because you didn't hammer or immediate reaction telling Mzero to please unvote because he was town. If anything, I felt mzeros vote forced a reaction in turn from red that didn't seem to be very fluid as town.

Yeah, I am just saying his reaction to mzeros vote in words didn't seem natural for a town who was on the fence regarding Mzero.

It was just like, well, if you are gonna vote me I will just vote you too. Town in those situations a lot is pleading for them to unvote before you are hammered in a panic (because u think the person is likelier town) or usually a slower reaction to counter vote usually met with a well if puns was scum he would have hammered and he hasn't... So wow it was you the whole time. Then counter vote.

I mean, obviously this is from a position of knowing the result. But, red's reaction to me seemed more like well looks like this is the draw I am dealt with and instantly counter voted with no real reaction regarding someone who he supposedly was unsure about.

I think you played as well as you possibly could've. ultimately the corrik kill did help me settle it in my mind but who knows what would've been different. we'll never know.

MZero is the unsung hero. I just town vomited as much as I could, which in a final 3 as scum which goes the full 48 hours is extremely tough to match when you're having to fabricate everything

Red gave so many excuses to not say much that final day lol.

Mzero wasn't there. Then he was so tired. Then so sick he called off work. But was too busy playing smash. Lol
