I actually met the creator of Cyberpunk at a comic book shop in Seattle, but I didn't know until the store owner told me afterwords who it was (this was long before the game was being made and the franchise was basically dead at that time). I still regret not having him sign a book or something.

It helps the CDPR is Polish. Poland is one of the few non-SJW European countries. They're far more likely to tell SJWs to fuck off (like Japan would) than a video game dev company in UK or France.

I'm glad that they have black gangs. Movies and TV shows often feature gangs with diverse membership because they want to show that anybody can be a criminal and don't want to deal with accusations of prejudice. It's nice to see someone who isn't afraid of allegations they know are not true.

For the most part, that goes against the underlining psychology of gang members. Gangs take an "us against the world" attitude and that applies to race as well. Instead of having a gang with black, white, and Hispanic membership, they should have white gangs, black gangs, and Latino gangs. It's more true to the psychology of gang membership and it highlights the problematic racism that is practically inherent within gang culture.

Personally, I like the psychology behind heroic groups being integrated and villainous groups being racially homogeneous. It's a subtle way of suggesting that close-mindedness is something to be fought and that an inclusive worldview is to be admired.

- boxing
- football
- baseball
- wrestling
- cooking competitions
- golf

It's really difficult to win a game of golf without killing somebody, but it can be done.

Yeah even when you drain their stamina they still die in the narrative.

I think New Vegas is the only game I've played where you can actually make it through with no kills. And even that is really tricky.

It's been a long time since I played NV, but don't you have to cheese it and make enemies kill each other to do a no-kill run? I count that as killing.

I guess I just find it hard to believe that such an obviously combat-focused game as Cyberpunk will be able to pull that off.
