Katie Duran from Florida was left DISGUSTED after a Kid Employee at BURGER KING started using THIS to clean table tops and claims what he was using was DIRTY!!

The mother of 3 from Jacksonville grabbed her cellphone and recorded a short video of a teen employee at the fast food eatery that has now gone viral showing the teen using an unsanitary method of cleaning the tables there

She said she just ate there on that very table and when they left, they witnessed that...

She wondered if the teen employee did this in the past as well as Burger King has issued an apology and CONDEMNED the teen's actions

They said "The action depicted in the video is unacceptable and not in line with our brand standards or operational procedures We have strict protocols around cleanliness and food safety"

The owner will be re-traiing his team at all operational protocols

It's unclear if the een will be discliped for her conduct as Dailymail has reached out to Burger King seeking comment on the current work status but haven't disclosed it

Comments were fierce after people witnessed it as one person said "F*** these kids who can't do their jobs properly"

That shouldn't require training, not using a mop on a table top is just plain common sense. The kid should just be fired.

Nope providing it's clean. Even if it isn't I tend to not eat my food of the table anyway as it's normally in a box or on a tray.

Same here. I even usually wipe the table (and sometimes seat) down myself before I ever sit to eat.

Naturally. This country is like Burger King nowadays, except that if somebody tells them they can't 'have it their way' they have a shit fit until the other people relent and let them do as they please.

Why would the mop spread foot fungus? I'm pretty sure all restaurants require that customers wear shoes. Further, mopping generally involves the use of a cleaning agent that kills infectious vectors anyway. At worst the table is soapy.

I think if anything it's that the person who posted about the BK was already mad because the manager didn't treat her like a princess and cater to her needs before anybody else there. Just look at the rest of that post about the restaurant.

"Manager was unable to understand simple request for my drinks or my mobile order".

Basically calling the manager stupid.

Evidently not. A decent employer would tell their staff what they expect done and where the items are kept. If he only has access to a mop and he's asked to clean the tables, guess what's being used?
