lilORANG 06/09/19 8:55:13 PM #1:	I got it for 15 bucks this weekend during the PSN sale. The mechanics are technically tight, but it literally takes place in a wide open rural county in Montana. So after about 8 hours of gameplay, all I've really done is drive through samey looking woods and mountains to tiny little farmhouses, killing the baddies, and moving on to the next. I like just driving around sometimes but unless you're going to something marked on the map there isn't much to see. Far Cry 1 was a goofy level based arcadey game about an agent and a hot chick stopping an evil doctor from making cyborg zombies take over the world. Far Cry 2 turned into a sandbox and took it more seriously, but had a terrible story and awful gameplay. Far Cry 3 was Fay Cry 2 again but better. Far Cry 4 was Far Cry 3 again but worse Far Cry 5 was Far Cry 3 again but worse Far Cry New Dawn was Far Cry 3 again but worse The game is well made, responsive controls, lots of "Activities" to do, well voice acted. All that jazz. But it's just so passionless and souless. "here's the same shit you like again one more time now with less effort and thought." Ubisoft seem keen on making Ass Creed and Far Cry the poster children for being risk adverse. Just release the same shit over and over until the diehard fans eyes bleed from repitition. Malaria forcing you keep going back and getting pills Lack of rewards for exploring or gathering diamonds which is also boring. I think of all the Far Cry Games 2 has the worst gameplay. It just seems to be designed for people who think boring edginess is the greatest thing ever. Which is fine but not for me. I like a game to either be fun or well designed. Malaria forcing you keep going back and getting pills Lack of rewards for exploring or gathering diamonds which is also boring. I think of all the Far Cry Games 2 has the worst gameplay. It just seems to be designed for people who think boring edginess is the greatest thing ever. Which is fine but not for me. I like a game to either be fun or well designed. The biggest one is it's finally trying to address Far Cry's recurring problem of getting easier as you progress.
