Whenever you go to buy the $1 month of Ultimate gamepass it converts current subscriptions currently on the account to Ultimate Gamepass. This is intended. Not a glitch.

Thus, any time you have towards Xbox Live or Gamepass will be converted to Ultimate Gamepass upon taking the offer.

Subs cap out at 3 years. Thus, when you take the $1 offer, you can cap your account out with 3 years of Ultimate gamepass (which is $15 a month and includes Xbox Live, Gamepass, and PC Gamepass together).

You add current time on Xbox live sub + Gamepass sub + 1 for the month of Ultimate gamepass to get your new sub time.

Ex: 14 months Xbox Live + 13 months Gamepass + $1 month of Ultimate becomes = 28 months of Ultimate Game Pass.

If you have small amount of sub times, you can increase them BEFORE taking the offer. It will not work any time after.

Thus...

If you have 3 months Xbox live, 5 months Gamepass for a total of 8 months. You can add two years of Xbox live (which can be found reliably for $50 a year and ranges from $35 to full price a year on sites) to up your subs before converting. Every year you add gives you an auto renewal option for an extra month for free (you can turn off right after if you wish).

Thus 3 months Xbox live + 5 months Gamepass = 8 months

8 months from above + 12 month xbl sub + 1 auto renewal = 21 months

21 months from above + 12 month xbl sub + 1 auto renewal = 34 months.

34 months from above + 1 month for $1 ultimate gamepass = 35 months of ULTIMATE GAMEPASS.

In the scenario above if Xbox live is $50 a year that you paid. You got 35 months of ultimate gamepass for $101.

Instead of 3 + 5 + 1= 9 months of ultimate gamepass for $1.

It is $100 more. But you got 26 months of ultimate game pass for $100. 26 months of ultimate gamepass at $15 a month is $390. Thus, you saved $290 by stacking up first.

TLDR: stack your subs before you convert.

Where are you seeing 12 months of gamepass cheaper than Xbox live? Probably not legit. That would be over 50% off to be cheaper than xbox live MSRP.

It is technically cheaper than PC Gamepass to buy 3 years of Xbox live for $150 and use the $1 ultimate gamepass. Compared to paying $360 for 3 years of pc Gamepass. But, I am assuming you aren't gonna be a forever subscriber.

Go to subscriptions on your Xbox

When does your Xbox live expire. When does your gamepass expire. Ultimate Gamepass combines these together and adds them to the month you buy for a total subscription of ultimate gamepass.

If you have 35 months of Xbox live and 0 months of gamepass and buy the $1 ultimate gamepass. You will have 36 months of Ultimate gamepass for $1.

Insiders were offered this since the beginning of may basically. There is no telling when they could stop offering it. I would assume they will always keep the conversion itself when you first get it, but that it won't always be a $1 ($15 normally). I can't say that for certain either. Should act as if it could disappear at any time.

You can make over 500 a day right now. About 300 a day normally. 300 a day x 30 days a month is 9k points alrdy. Add like 1200 points in gamepass quests a month. About 150 in email points. About another 300 in streaks.

You are getting about 11k points a month if there is not any special things going on (left out Xbox daily points and bonus points for purchases ).

Xbox live year is like 30k. You could buy a year every 3 months if you probably really wanted to.

Do not buy the ultimate gamepass BEFORE you add your subs up if you intend to. It only works on EXISTING subs.

Let me think about that. I know it used to be a code. I think they might have changed it though because people were making fake accounts to load up on codes for one xbox live account and/or selling them. Not positive they made that change. I did redeem one a few months back. Let me see if it's in my trash folder.

Okay maybe I'm being dumb

How do I add time to my Xbox Gold Live account? When I go into manage my subscriptions it shows that I have annual recurring in March, so I'll be billed next in March 2020. The only options I'm seeing is to turn off recurring or change if my subscription is monthly or annual.

Yes to maximize your ultimate gamepass. Might be cheaper to buy live from cdkeys or online than from Xbox tho.
