So instead I guess you just get my thoughts on them in a general sense. Sabagebu - very bizarre skit-based comedy that relies on none of the characters being at all normal. the main girl is adorably malicious and it's hilarious. iirc it gets a lot of its humour factor by excessively serious presentation of absolutely ridiculous situations. it has this weird documentary-esque announcer and everything Tsubasa Chronicle - probably the best feeling of adventure I've ever gotten from an anime. It has a variety of locales, all of which are very different from each other in terms of both what the setting is and also the visual aspect. They really got the fantastic worlds aesthetic down pat. The soundtrack is also one of my favourite anime OSTs, it's got enough variety in style and tracks to fit the world-hopping plotline but also enough musical callbacks and reused motifs to make it feel like a single cohesive journey. I'm only upset that it's getting 12 episodes, I'd love more. Dr. Stone - Wasn't as impressed with the first episode as I was hoping. Then again I felt like Black Clover started off really poorly and it picked up. Fire Force - Holy shit do they know how to do a shonen battle sequence. Cool concept, fantastic combat sequences. Abandoned Sacred Beasts - Solid. It won't be anything above maybe a 7.5, but it has good creature design and again, an interesting premise. Are We Lost - I'm so conflicted. Part of it almost has a Yuru Camp charm to it, but it ratchets up the fanservice so much at times it just turns me off. I'm gonna give episode 3 a chance, but if it does the same thing I'm gonna drop it. Vinland Saga - I like it a lot. 3 episodes in and I'm definitely engaged.
