Excited to see what Microsoft has regarding next gen and third party announcements (GRRM/From Software!) and Nintendo's first party lineup should be stacked (maybe some nice Switch ports too like oh, let's say The Witcher 3). Other than that E3 ain't what it used to be.

I still don't understand why sony skipped

like they've already shown stuff that proves they had enough to put together a decent presentation (ffvii remake, death stranding). it seems like there's no upside to just releasing the trailers and not having a presentation.

Theyve already won this generation and it's coming to a close soon. Blockbuster exclusives on the horizon like DS and TLoU2 then in 2020 it's the PS5 so they wont bother. I have a feeling they will be there next year with a massive PS5 show

Well, I just asked him. If Blood Dragon 2 is a thing they aren't even thinking about, he'll probably tell me it's not that. If Blood Dragon 2 is there or a thing they are actually considering for the future, he'll probably decline to answer.

I tend to not bother him about his games usually. I think I did once when they mentioned Stampy the elephant on the Super Best Friendcast while Woolie was doing QA on FarCry 4 in a throw away line and I went "Hey do you know Stampy?" And he just talked about how Stampy was his boy and that he worked on most of the Stampy elephant stuff.

He hung out with Austin Creed too and I'm jealous.

I know it isn't this, but in my mind, I picture this working like Mario Odyssey where you toss Aiden Pearce's iconic hat at other NPCs and take them over.

I'm hoping XSeed comes through with a release date for Rune Factory 4 Special (Rune Factory 5 is probably so far out that it won't even warrant a mention this year). Other than that, maybe there'll be a surprise or something.

i got watch dogs 2 on sale for like $20 and I think I started the tutorial and I hit the button the tutorial asked me to hit but I popped out of cover instead of what was supposed to happen and the first ever enemy saw me and shot me to death

i then realized i had like 50 others games i'd rather play so i did that instead

Against my better judgment I preregistered to do the Pokemon Sword and Shield E3 demo twice. I don't think the demo is going to be very good, but the line is going to be insane so might as well not take the chance.

I lasted a bit longer than that. I finished a mission, tried to sneak into a police section to get at something, got spotted, chased into a tunnel (couldn't get a car, so this was on foot), and then got trapped between the police behind me and a gang in front of me at the other end of the tunnel.

I couldn't be bothered with it after that. None of the upgrades looked like any fun, anyway.

They've started leaking some of the potential games for the various shows and I'm feeling like they're all going to be showcased at a Microsoft show.

I'm not worried about the leaks. XSeed announced their E3 line-up, RF4 Special is on there, and so long as they give a release date I'll be happy.

Also remembered a few other games I'd like to see more of, but I'm sure that'll come up.

I need somewhere to grump, and this topic is here. There were some games that haven't shown up in any E3 news reports yet that have broad 2019 release dates. I'm a little (a lot) upset that they still don't have release dates. Would have been nice, just saying.

Top two are Rune Factory 4 Special (which XSeed has given a new trailer but no release date) and The Red Lantern, which hasn't shown up at all.
