Let me see if I understand this correct...
In MCU, half of Earths population suddenly vanish one day. More dies because of the loss in one way or another (suicide, the doctor that operated your heart suddenly dont exist any longer, your airplane pilot is suddenly gone, etc etc), but that is a different matter, anyway, and five years later everybody gone suddenly appears back again.
What kind of backwater society do you live in that believes that those returning people shouldnt be able to finish the school courses they had when they vanished?
Where do you draw the line?
Should returning kids in Kindergartens be moved up 5th grade as well?
Should 12th graders suddenly skip college?
Yeah Billy, I know that you are only five years old, but we are going to place you in a class with 12th graders, have fun!

Oh gosh this scenario would basically be even worse than the snap lol. Can you imagine all the different crap governments and other institutions would have to sort through? And they probably hadnt even finished declaring everyone dead in only five years lol. The more you think about the logistics the crazier it gets.

Not that you know of yet.

I can see them definitely spinning that into a way to introduce a hero or villain.

The logistics of such a scenario would be a nightmare in itself and I don't know if any MCU movie will ever fully go into it.

Yeah, the Russos confirmed that Peter and Ned were both snapped and now have to finish high school, while many of their classmates are now in college.

The logistics of the situation are simply too much to think about.

All those men and women who had moved on with their relationship, now have their SO back.

Yeah, some loved them enough that they didn't move on like a certain someone, but there's probably tons that did move on.

And that's just relationships. What about the guy with the cushy executive job, who was likely replaced half a decade ago? What about the job market that has likely compensated for all the loss a long time ago?

People out of homes, out of jobs, out of money, out of relationships.

How do you live?

Pretty sure in real life society would have already collapsed if we lost 50% at random. There probably wouldn't be a functioning school system to go back to

Imagine being dead for 5 years and when you come back, all your friends have moved on without you, your family has either moved on and actually don't want you back in the new life they've built for themselves

Oh man, imagine there being discrimination practices against snapped people now like how people treat immigrants and people hating the avengers for bringing back these people because it's fucking up their lives

This is how I see it. Post their return, I see global catastrophe. Enough that high school and shit wouldn't even matter.

Remember, people had to move on because nothing even impled they'd ever return. People weren't walking around going "I hope they return one day". They accepted it as death.

Also all the Christian folks that probably spouted "The Rapture" are gonna be in for some heavy shit.

Many of their classmates huh? Apparently it was all just ones they don't talk to. Cause based on the Far From Home trailer, every single one of the important named classmates from Homecoming all conveniently got snapped

Get over it. They're not going to suddenly throw out half the Spider-man supporting cast and their character building because that would be more statistically likely.

It was less ridiculous on the comic version of the story because way i remember it, the Snappening only lasts like 1 day or less

He snaps, people go away. Remaining heroes deal with Thanos. And then it gets undone all within one day or like 12 hours or something

The 5 year time skip was created for the movie

Well "inhumans" technically already exist in the MCU and S.H.I.E.L.D. knows about them, it's just a matter of rebranding now that Disney owns Fox.
