Haha. Yeah. In Falcom's defense, if you played the Crossbell games you'd know that couldn't possibly have really fired because well... they're in Crossbell you'd know. But for all of us who haven't/can't it's quite the anti-climax.

Chapter 6 is so damn good. hype.

Generally speaking, my thoughts on the flow of Cold Steel are Chapters 1-3 are the slow build kinda like FC's early chapters. Chapter 4 it shifts up a gear with SSJ Rean and Heimdallr. Legram is a kind of breather episode. But once you catch up with the in media res beginning at Garrelia the game ramps up and never stops.

I like the early chapters in CS a lot too. Character development felt a lot more pronounced here than early FC. Plus Turbo Mode made the pacing faster too, lol.

I like them too, with the possible exception of Chapter 1 which might be a tad too slow for me. I don't dislike it but it's the clear odd one out of the chapters IMO. But the pacing/excitement definitely steps up in chapter 4 and again at catching up to the in media res/chapter 6 IMO.

Also at one point in the chapter Sara pretty strongly implied that she knows Sharon is a member of Ouroboros. I figured they had to show up at some point, but naturally, they're maybe already here...?

Also, I finished up reading volume 10 of the Nozaki-kun manga, which came out last week. Part of me wonders if these character arcs will ever actually make notable progress. They seem to be very slowly inching forward, but it's at a snail's pace.

Goblet of Fire has not been that popular among fans of Harry Potter that I've talked to, but I've always liked it. In particular I thought they did a really good job with the Goblet of Fire movie and honestly it might even be my favorite of the movies. (1 and 7 part 2 also very good though)

Maybe this is just my inner anime fan speaking where I always like tournament arcs literally no matter what.

Just finished Order of the Phoenix. I really liked that one, too. My girlfriend did have a few complaints with some of the changes they made in the adaptation and some stuff they omitted from the book (she said this and the next one are her favorite books in the series), but I don't know what I'm missing, so it's all good.

Those are good picks for favorite books/movies! OotP is a weird one for me because I think when it released I didn't properly appreciate it so it's always gone under my radar a bit. Half-Blood Prince (the next one) is my favorite book as well!

Ah, that is determined by the total amount of HP restored by the dishes you pick (which I assume is suppose to translate to Mint wanting healthy/nutritious dishes) and the reason why it's listed when you pick your choices.

If the total amount of HP restored of the 3 dishes is 8000 or higher you get the +2 AP, which is the best outcome. 6000-7900 is +1 and below that is no bonus AP.

I watched Half-Blood Prince tonight. This was the one Harry Potter spoiler I knew about coming into this (mostly because it was nearly impossible to avoid it back then), but it was still a really well done scene. My girlfriend had to fill in a lot of gaps as we were watching it though.

but yeah Cold Steel has some weird voicing choices sometimes. The added voicing that XSEED got put in for PC/PS4 helps a lot though it still pops up here and there.
