nah, hollow knight ain't cutting it because they are all fools.

dan didn't like the map system and backtracking. he dropped it after 10 or so hours.

ben liked it more, but also grew tired of how unforgiving it is. i think he stopped about halfway through.

abby, alex and jason gave it a legit shot last year, and none of them stuck with it. i vaguely remember abby giving it another go on the switch, but didn't hear her talk about it again. maybe jan also mentioned playing it on the switch, but yeah, no recollection of him praising it.

I wonder if Fallout 76 can beat Quiet Man for worst game. Jeff is very passionate about Fallout and doesn't really care about Quiet Man. I could see Dan coming to Quiet Man's defense because he finds it funny.

Ben hates fun so he will absolutely push for Quiet Man to take Worst Game. Abby also dislikes it. Vinny is entertained by it. The rest of the crew I don't know. They'll initially lean anti-Quiet Man, but maybe they can be swayed. It all depends on the atmosphere of the room and how worked up Jeff is about Fallout

I like the idea of games getting more individual discussion, but if you only care about 1 or 2 games you'll need to wait until they get to it since it's in chronological order

after last year I think I care less about the actual categories except the actual GotY category itself so this works

going through this list chronologically will also help me with remembering the year so I can formulate my list

I don't care about discussing which games make the list to discuss later, doesn't matter what games they're talking about. They didn't have this part of the process podcasted before for a reason. Maybe this is for someone out there or an attempt to just be more open about the process, but personally I don't understand why they would bother doing this. If it's resulted in less categories as well...seems like an enormous mistake.

We'll see. As it stands I'm gonna skip out on today. Seems like all it serves is to pointlessly spoil how arguments are gonna go later on.
