what do you mean by that exactly?

beyond the high-school-variety-show level, music should generally be performed with a band, or at least an accompanist (the singer can also be the accompanist I'd definitely be into a rapper who could accompany themselves on guitar or piano). I do not think hip-hop should be exempt from this

they don't have to do their bars perfectly, and they can still hype the crowd up.

there are actually more options for that with a band than with a track the song doesn't have to be a set length, so it can go on for as long as they want.

having a band is not a style, and the mindset of viewing it as such is part of the problem with live hip-hop shows
