So a man's prime of strength and agility is between 20 and 45... Kind of disapointing when we humans live arround 80 years...we are at our peak for only 1/4th of our livea...If you check all sports related to speed and strenght. The youngest champions are around 20 and the oldest are 45. With agility sports champions peaking in the mid to late 20s, strenght related champions peaking at the late 30s early 40s and fighters peaking on their late 30s to mid 30s...
So I realized I only have 10 years of my prime...this is hard to accept for someone who played amateur soccer and now focus on powerlifting and bodybuilding...It's terrifying --- I am your father ... Copied to Clipboard!

I work in a surgeon's office and deal with a lot of old people
I've had athletes come in who I SWORE were 50. They're 75. Zero health problems. This has happened a bunch of times. I think that this is more common than we know, we just assume these people are 50 when we see them walking around. I'm not afraid to get old if I take nutrition and training seriously. --- But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them - bring them here and kill them in front of me ~Jesus Christ ... You can fight the clock. It does eventually win, but you can push it back. I'm 38. Other than rheumatoid arthritis, I am in excellent health. My blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol, and everything else tested so far, have all come back comparable to someone half my age.

I'm 32 and I already hate it. I'd hate it a lot more if I was balding and fat though, for example. As it stands I'm in pretty good shape, full head of hair, and haven't had to ever deal with any sort of sickness or pain.
It's a pretty negative viewpoint, but I could never see the sense in getting old and would honestly be fine with dying in my thirties. I don't see the point in becoming a weaker, sicker version of myself over time. I mean, it has to be super noticeable once you start to decline, right? And even if you take incredibly good care of yourself, you can always get hit with a cancer diagnosis or some other horrifying ailment. Maybe pain becomes a regular part of your life, your eyes don't work as well, you become slow in mind and body.. etc. I mean, you can always hope for the best but at the end of the day, aging ain't pretty. And like you said, the actual prime of your life is so small it's pathetic. Who could not feel down when you realize you're close to approaching the end of it, or worse, you've already passed it? --- "We know things can move faster than the speed of light because liberal tears are on the ground before something offensive even happens" - Coffeebeanz ...
