He's definitely trying to downplay how much he is getting because he doesn't want his other contributors to stop giving, and that's very scummy. Given how well this begging season has gone so far, I fully expect him to ask for at least $20,000 next year, maybe even quite a bit more than that.

You almost can't blame him for being the way he is. He hasn't improved his content or done anything else to give people incentive to support him. He is ungrateful and continues to treat his fans (and everyone else, for that matter) like garbage. And despite all of this, he is showered with money.

Speaking of DSP, I was watching a bit of his FF4 run and just started on pt5. He's using Cure on his entire Party every turn and then he's going to complain about how he has no MP latter. . .

He wastes MP like crazy, even in non-boss battles. I don't think he knows that you can use equipped rods as items. Even a basic Rod will do a Mage Arrows attack that does good damage for zero MP use.

And it's not like this was a feature added to the DS version. You could do it in the SNES version, and it's useful in the early game when you're trying to conserve MP and only have access to the weakest spells.

As a streamer it is YOUR job to keep your audience engaged. The mind reels, here you have a man that just wants to stream games while everything takes care of itself:

Don't know where to go, what to do? Let chat handle it.
Don't have enough money to fix your made up problems? Let chat handle it.
Don't know how a game works? Let chat handle it.
Don't know how to keep your audience engaged? Let chat handle it.

If Phil had ANY competence playing games, his streams would just be playing games, making racist remarks/ACK ACK ACK and/or dead air.

What I'd love to hear more than anything, is from his fans what his unique selling points are. Why would you watch Phil over pretty much any other streamer?

I wonder what percentage of his viewers watch because they genuinely enjoy his content the way he wants them to enjoy it. I get the feeling that even a lot of his regulars are there more to see him rage or just to hang out with their friends in the chat. As toxic and immature as his chat can be, at least they do have a sense of comradery.

Also, I saw on Kiwi Farms that someone had figured out that Phil made over $80,000 this year just on Twitch. Factoring in YouTube and Patreon, this guy makes well over $100,000. Step up and support him.

Eh I am trying not to get worked up over it, but it can be hard, I agree.

Just think of it like this, it doesn't matter how much money he makes, what matters is how much he gets to keep. And we all know a couple of things are true:

Phil spends way too much money on way to much frivolous things. His headphones break? Better get 300 dollars ones instead of 40-50 dollar ones, that would do the job just as good. Buy 5-6 day 1 release games, buy a new TV, buy a new PS4Pro, tons and tons of statues and other crap.

Oh, and of course the 2 houses. We all know that he lives well beyond his means, but at the same time, he is continually looking for instant gratification, this is why he is pushing tips so hard. Subs are usually in the 400-450 bracket, money that he can count on, and his youtube money. Those get paid like clockwork.

Phil is like a dying alcoholic, sure you can give him a new liver that will tide him over for a few years, but unless he changes his ways, he'll destroy that too.

Starting to settle in to Phil that the Emerald Seven stuff isn't gonna be forever. He's trying to snake around still begging for money from people after everyone saw him get a huge amount.

Found a poignant remark on the subreddit:

He's done. There's literally nothing he can or, in my opinion, will do to fix his situation.

He can't get a job, since the second they do a background check the thousands of videos of him begging for money and the video of him jerking it on stream will come up.

He does not know how to attract a new audience, so the moment the kiddies watching him grow up, he'll be left with a few viewers. The detractor videos are his best bet of other people finding him.

It seems to me that Kat doesn't seem very interested in being his maid, so that can be towards it's end.

In the end, he's getting near 40, hasn't learn any useful skills during his 10 years on youtube, can't repair things, cook, didn't know how to even use a laundry machine until Leanna left him.

He's good for nothing and his narcissism isn't helping him. If what he's saying is true, he has no savings and he will rely on people's mercy and pity for the rest of his streaming career.

^Most of that is true, although I do think he will continue to pull in a small number of new viewers (though he will lose more viewers than he gains). I think some people become fans of his simply to be contrarians.

Still, I can see him streaming for a living at 50 (if he lives that long). He should've been finished a long time ago, but he kept going, and people continue to give him money.

His ego is more powerful than his greed. Even before Tut turned on him, Phil was so assmad that people in the chat were talking about Tut rather than him. It doesn't matter if someone give him thousands of dollars; everything has to be about Phil all the time.

Also, people have also told him that he should just let trolls give him money. Like if someone wants to tip him and send an insulting message, just let them do it and keep taking their money. Personally, I would be fine with someone sending me cash to call me an asshole. Who cares what some random person on the internet thinks? But Phil is so thin-skinned that he'd rather ban these people and rant about them, even though he's losing money by doing it.
