I was ghosted. Had 3 dates, everything was going well. Went on the 4th, a concert. We got intimate, it was the best date of them all by a good margin.

Never saw her again. No idea what the issue was or why she did it. She had strict Iranian parents so maybe it was them idk.

Yeah, but what if you don't care? You never felt like you're bored of someone or that you just don't have much in common to keep any kind of relationships going?

nah cause it just dies out on it's own when it gets to that point. you run out of things to say to each other. when you both just mutually stop talking then that's not ghosting. ghosting is when you're blatantly ignoring someone out of nowhere

I've never ghosted anyone intentionally, though I have fallen away from old friends and stopped talking to them over a period of time.

No. I've grown apart from people, sure, but nobody has ever just dropped contact with me. I, however, have done it to others on many occasions. Once I decide I don't want to talk to someone, I stop doing so. With relationships, almost all of them have ended with the words "I'm done", and then I never speak to the girl again.

Once I make a decision, that's it. I'm not big on halfassing things.

The girl who went off to California and ended up homeless. Comes back to Minnesota and gets knocked up without having inkling who the dad is. My dad says he thinks I like her. I add her on FB and she leaves arrogant "I am a smart actress comments" on my page and I end up unfriending her because of that. I ghost her now.

only once, iirc. she told me she had all of these feelings for me, and then she got in an accident while driving drunk later that day (she was fine), and I think that was a turning point for her.

she grew more distant until she just stopped talking to me.

idk if that was related to why things ended, but it made me think in retrospect.

and I also did it once when I was a freshman in high school. I was talking to this girl that I thought was cute, but then she started coming on too strong, and I wasn't ready for that kind of intensity, so I just stopped taking to her.

I still feel guilty about it.

I agree with this to an extent.

Same here. Like, say you're best friends with someone and you draw strength from them but then you move far away. Suddenly your strength is gone. Try as you might, you just cant muster the strength to reach out.
