I'm sure you've seen those those "free" signs on people's property with something on the front of their house. usually it's an electronic or home appliance or furniture they don't want and are too cheap to pay to junk it...have you ever picked up anything "free" before? let's see if people have.

Well, I have, but I never took any of it home. It's a lice and dirt hazard most of the time.

Never, but there's a gas station close by my house that's run by an elderly man.
The type that pumps gas for it's customers and also does mechanic work.

He regularly drops money and the wind blows it away.
I've found up to $200 at one time about 100 feet from the station. After not even getting a free bottle of pop (I asked and was turned down) for returning the first $50 that I found, I just started keeping what I picked up from then on.
Over the years I've picked up around $700 or $800 from this spot alone.

I know it isn't something labeled as "free", and I know it's technically a douche-bag move. But I was soured by not even getting a reward of less than a dollar for doing the right thing. So I stopped doing it immediately and decided to capitalize. He's since quit the job due to old age, so I doubt I'll see anymore free cash just laying around.

Yeah I've got a shelf and a bedside table that I found on the curb. Both excellent finds. And for a good few years my computer desk was a mishmash of salvaged material.

Yes, I love free furniture, books, and electronics that I see abandoned on the streets. I think of it as a free garage sale.

I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this who will count the votes, and how.

I found a small bag of weed outside a Dunkin' Donuts a while back. I took it.

EDIT: I also took a silver original Game Boy advance left in a box by a dumpster.

I grew up doing that. Clothes, tvs, furniture, toys, mattresses.... funny thing about mattresses, I've gotten them from other people and beside dumpsters plenty of times but the only time I got bedbugs was when I finally got a brand new one from a store XD it was probably the appartment we just moved to tho. :/

A few times.

A perfectly fine glass patio table. A redwood rocker that just needed some paint. The house has an old storm door and the knob/lock was pretty worn, so when someone discarded theirs I took it for parts.

Definitely sounds like he deserved it.
