Yeah. They are. I think one reason he spends a lot is because his feet are huge. So, that seems to make them cost more. He also buys them when they first come out. But he buys crazy expensive shoes. He does take care of them. And unlike some people I know, he wears them.

Not much. I have very small feet and wear children's shoes. I've even bought light up shoes in the children's dept that were some cartoon based shoe.

Idk. He really likes shoes. Thats really the only reason, I guess. I mean, I can ask him. But everyone (mostly) has that thing they like. His thing just happens to be shoes...

My brother doe protect his shoes, though. My mom asked him to mow the lawn. He did. And he covered his shoes with plastic grocery bags to keep them clean.

Just bought two pairs of Jordans yesterday. One pair was $89.99 CAD on sale and the other pair was $159.99 CAD regular price. These two pairs of shoes will last me a few years probs.

$75 tops.

I have currently 3 pairs of shoes, a used up pair for yard work and such and now 2 new pairs. One of the new pairs I'll wear out once a week and the more expensive new pair I'll try to keep brand new as long as I can lol.

I would also clean them anytime I use them.

My used up crap pair of shoes is pushing 2 years old now.

Fair enough. I don't think spending more means better quality or at least from my experience. If I have any clothing that costs over what I normally spend I do try and preserve it as much as possible though. I think the most expensive clothing I have is a long coat that cost me around 40 though. Hardly breaking the bank but still.
