Shadow is my least favorite FF character and if he was ever lawyered out I would feel nothing but bad for his supporters. Most people aren't so petty and obsessed about hating a fictional character to take something like that and throw a party.

Being excited at lawyerings isn't a new concept, I've gone through plenty of them in my SMFFFC, some that bit me, some bit by me I've even been involved in. I can say for a fact that with all Inviso's complaining about my joy, he's had the exact same reaction to Cecil.

Like I said, after the initial reveal I went quiet about it for Team Light's sake but I'm not gonna stay silent if you start dragging me and my characters into some beef.

But FBike is also the only reason Edea lasted past round like 30 so you know, live by the sword die by the sword and all that. Edea supporters aren't victims here. They're just having to actually work for their character to get through now. All's fair.

I can't speak about celebrations over lawyerings I didn't see, but I got a real good look at how you reacted yesterday. There might be a genuine argument about not blaming Edea for her saver's mistake, but please, show enough self-awareness to see that such an argument has absolutely no place coming from you after how you acted. I'm not happy about any of this, but if I was I would have every right by your own twisted logic.

What really sucks about all this is that I kind of like Edea. She's no Agnes but she's still a fun character. Maybe that's why I've felt at least equal rage towards Janus and Cid P. I don't even know what Cid P looks like, my current mental image is the weird bug that the FFIX Cid was turned into.

I've had people laughing at my own misfortunes countless times and I know that I haven't seen the last of it, but if I built up a personal grievance to all of them for it I'd be making enemies out of everyone. Instead there's a lot of those people that I still think are pretty cool... and a number of which that can just be assholes... but you gotta find out which is which beyond the points you cross.

I love how everyone suddenly wants to take Edea out just to spite me, implying that they were ever going to save her to begin with.

News flash: She can't win, and I've known this for weeks. She gets blown out in every possible final 2 involving her (except maybe Sazh, but she still loses.) My goal was never for her to win in the first place.

Personally, I don't hate any of you for this. I'm not petty, and you have to ensure your own character's survival. Taking out the low (wo)man on the totem pole is the smart move.

... Meanwhile, you're content with letting Vanille basically walk her way to the final 2. Her walk animation is pretty sexy though, so I don't blame you for it.

Lastly, for the record, I won't have this become a long string of NRs. If she's obviously going out, I'll let it happen.

I dont really hate any character from FF tbh (even Eiko)

I will say however theres a good number of characters I dont feel strongly about, either because I cant connect with them or they just arent interesting to me

I like characters easily (a cool hat? sure! a snarky comment that made me smile? welcome to the club) but I also hate characters easily. It's not like I go about my day SEETHING, I just have a lot of opinions in both directions. There aren't many FF characters I'm legit neutral on.

for us noobs, us plebs, since I can't find it in the wiki: did the double lawyering serve to eliminate the originally-eliminated character or did it hit some third unrelated character?

Because yeah, if it hits the original character then that would be a great day since it undoes the original lawyering - which would always be the best case scenario!

I mean it takes a level of effort to get a character this far, so that's where the feelsbad comes from.

But I still think you need to take a step back and wonder if you're taking it too seriously if you really feel upset for more than 20 minutes.

Cecil went out
BUT Celes was lawyered out
BUT Cecil was lawyered out because I had set up a script to save that lagged on the first save but ran without a hitch the second time
