Probably because there are more white people.

Snoop Dogg likely has more white fans than black fans. Not necessarily by percentage of specific colors, but just sheer number.

Overlooking that the most enthusiastic Trump supporters seem to be non-white --- both on a celebrity scale with Kanye and even the ones I've met irl including a second-generation American whose parents LEGALLY came from one of the nations associated with border crossings -- it's solely because Republicans are more likely to be white and, unless you believe stuff like the claim that minorities vote in Democrats for welfare benefits, there's no particularly good reason for it. Keep in mind that Hillary Clinton called black youths "super-predators" yet blacks still overwhelmingly supported Hillary during the primaries (granted, the fact that she ran against a guy who talked about getting blacks off street corners).

In general, if you're a business owner, you're more likely to support a Republican than a Democrat (unless you rely on non-military government contracts); that includes a substantial number of successful non-whites.

That's easy. You throw a minority up there and the minority crowd will jump on it because it "validates" them or whatever.

During the last election I talked to someone who's only reason for voting for Hillary was because she was female and it was damn time we had a female president. I even probed to see if they'd at least agree with any stances she had on any issues. Nope just that she was a woman.

I don't care who you vote for but let the reason be because you actually agree with what they want rather than what they are (race, gender, sexual orientation, religion etc.)

Well, minorities tend to stick more closely to one party (iirc, something like 93% of blacks voted Democrat in 2016 -- NPR's commentary on black voters has always been along the lines of, "It's not a matter of whether they'll vote Democrat or Republican, just whether they'll turn out to vote") whereas whites are split between both. And for many voters, Obama's race was more important than his qualifications -- which helped him beat the far more qualified Joe Biden and John McCain. Of course, he also benefited from being a younger, hipper candidate, which led to all the of the JFK comparisons.

I was for Obama until he courted the dindoo vote by declaring war on police and set race relations back 50 years. Hil/Billy are more of the same.

And, yes, the media anti-Trump bias is incredible.

Because for some people, they were raised in a home or community that prided those factors. I think that it's important to be comfortable with who you are and embrace aspects of that, but letting it become your primary form of identity is ultimately shallow because it serves as a roadblock to developing oneself or any unique personality.

I felt that way when I lived in university towns. Now I live in one of the murder capitols of the US, yes, 90/13 is obviously true, and was empowered by one of the worst Presidents in history who declared war on the police for political gain. Obama set back race relations by 50 years, just as racist in his own way as Orville Faubus was in the 60s.
