my own GotY preparation I'm way behind this year because after Dragon Ball FighterZ and Monster Hunter World, I spent most of 2018 playing through the entire Yakuza series so I could play at least 6 in this calendar year. Did play a few other games here and there though like Dragon Quest XI, but I really need to step it up as soon as I'm done with Yakuza catchup

I'll be glad if they recognize WarioWare Gold, The Messenger, and/or Obra Dinn in at least one category. Deliberations should be appropriately grueling because they're going to be resistant to handing it over to Red Dead but momentum for anything else will be slow to build.

Lucy: Well, it started out great cause they had my favorite crisps on the airplane-

Rorie: Oh man, that reminds me of the time when I first heard the word crisps, like you mean chips? But chips are fries there, and that led to a really weird situation where Matt Pasqual, you know, friend of the site, he's been in PUBG videos, and he runs our Extra Life content, which hey, is starting next week, and I think we got Dave Lang starting off, which, man oh man, if he was anything like last year, he's a force to start off with, because he plays some really deep games like Pony Island, which actually I finally got to a couple weeks ago, since I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card, so I figured I'd binge my low benchmark games to get them out of my system before I go all out putting my new rig threw the ringer and check out how much the ray tracing cores actually affect visuals, but with all the stories of the 20 series crapping out, I may wait a few more months, since that will also allow the crypto-miners to get off the market, especially since it's drying up, I haven't really been doing it lately, but it may come back, cause who knows, and I just wanna be ready for when it does, cause then-

If I remember correctly, he equated some sort of unnatural death (I really can't remember what) to population control. He walked it back by making reference to Malcolm Gladwell being on Big Tobacco's payroll for some amount of time or something, but his initial statement was made with no reference whatsoever.

Or it could be some other doozy I dunno. Rorie is not ideal for me on the podcast, but I can generally deal with it. This week he was really bad. In case you guys didn't know, RDR2 is probably going to come to PC and he's definitely going to wait for it. PC Master Race, yo.

I did not get the impressions that RDR2 was as much of a slam dunk from the Beastcast. I think Brad is going to be the only one who puts his foot down, and with Jeff countering I'd say it and GoW are sitting at even odds.

Though Jeff is not hard into GoW either so that may swing it.

One time I ended my premium, and they do this annoying thing where they beg you for a reason why you're quitting. So I was honest,

"I don't think the premium shows are that interesting, and they often contain people I don't enjoy listening to. Rorie, mostly. I dislike any content he is involved with, which mostly happens to be premium."

Two days later I get an E-Mail,

"Sorry ;("

It took me a bit to figure out what had even happened. I didn't even know he was the customer service rep at the time. On one hand I felt kind of bad for hurting the dude's feelings. On the other fuck that guy for messaging me like I should feel bad too.

I may be factoring in Alex's 5 star review a tad, with Abby and Dan on board as well. Abby is also constantly posting clips on Twitter, so her and Brad comboing could do it.
