Today in eliminations: if the current results hold (Luigi, Tails, Tifa, MMX), TheArkOfTurus is eliminated by a combination of the following people: hylianknight3, DoctorJimmy, Glenn_and_Toad, PSI_NESS, Polycosm, haloiscoolisbak, tennisboy, SwiftyDC, Oxbridge. TheArkOfTurus has a maximum score of 601. In every combination of possible winners in the 12 battles that are guaranteed to be wrong, at least one of those people ends up with more than 607.

Losing 4 division winners is hazardous for your bracket's health!

e: quick check for tomorrow: Turnsniper is at risk if Amaterasu/Aqua both win. Captain Falcon > Sephiroth probably ends in a lot of blood too, but we'll worry about that if we get there.

I'm surprised the combination of Charizard, Monika, Mewtwo and D.Va hasn't destroyed my bracket yet, maybe because I only had Charizard going past division finals (I know, never again).

Either way, I must be dangerously close.

Killed a bug with my full elimination checker, so now I'm fairly confident that it is considering all possible results (including all losers bracker possibilities, which were causing the bug).
Given yesterday's results, TheArkOfTurus should now be dead. I double-checked his bracket, given I had that error, but it didn't change the outcome.

It's too tedious to list out everyone that is doing the eliminating in most of these cases, so I'm not doing it this year until things get narrowed down. Blame the loser's bracket.

Division 1/2 results look fairly stable now (leads over 1k in all instances). Once they go final, A worlds envy, greengravy, and RoseChevalier should officially be dead.

A look at tomorrow's eliminations:


Top row seems like the most probable, since 2B and Phoenix Wright look to be at least a step behind Bowser/Kirby, and the impression I'm getting is that Division 3 could plausibly go either way at this point.

This is a toss up. I guess Kirby can win because of Smash or something but MMX isn't out.

I feel like a solid percentage of voters (including myself) see X as an interpretation of Mega Man and vote as if they were voting for Mega Man.

When I see X, I don't think, "hmm, let me judge this character based on these games where he was MMX", I think, "Oh it's Mega Man".

These are ones I called out in the previous topic for corrections, I should have Zelda > Squall (you have me down for Zelda winning R4 already which is correct) and Geralt winning his round 3 match also
