This is Saudi Arabia, so the may get a wag of the finger and a stern talking to, but if they financed the 9/11 attacks and we invaded two other countries instead of them, I doubt one journalist is going to be the last straw here.

Even if they didn't, they're pretty much the main source of radical militant Islam in the world, and have been for decades, and yet it's literally never stopped us from bending over and fellating them on a regular basis, so nothing is going to change.
