Just wondering, it's way too much for me. One of the only posters I skip that isn't an outright shit posters.

Kind of a mean-spirited topic. I usually at least glance through them and I outright read whatever I reply to. Granted, when he and PO were having a long (and protracted) discussion the other day, I just skipped the rest of the topic entirely because I wasn't that emotionally invested in the topic anyway

Shrug, it's cool. I type fast and with stream of consciousness. I have apologized for it in the past and tried to curb myself, but yeah, if I don't think about it....I forget and before you know it, I've written a small book. I have actually deleted or not posted about half as many posts as I've posted.....as I realized I literally just filled a page full of pointless drivel.

Thing is I can fill that page in less then a minute so I don't always think it through before posting.

Wolfy has had good posts from the few I've seen.

If anyone doesn't like someone's message format, the ignore feature is always an option.

Yeah, but you were around the boards the whole time that thing was going. I either wasn't around at all or hadn't touched that topic and came back to find a novel. That's a lot of reading to commit to and, at a certain point, I'd rather just pick up an actual book unless it's something I really care about.

I think wolfy is a good poster, I just really have to be determined to get through one of his posts. They are very long.

I have said it before, I have seen other peoples page long posts and really do understand that even if I'm actually making a point and am on topic etc, it can just be too much. I struggle with it.....in real life (talking as well). I don't have ADHD I have some unknown mental condition that requires me to freaking do something all the time, every instant of every day, constantly, and my mind never stops running at 200 miles per hour. It is exhausting.

It is why I have always had books with me, why I bring about 5 ways to play video games on a trip, and sadly why I reply waaaay to long in some topics. I can't stand any mental drugs though (for depression or anything else) so yep, just gotta deal with it myself.

I think I get what he's trying to say. I think he means that he leaves the topic for a while. ANd when he comes back, there's like 20 new post. And if some of them are really long, he would have to really be into the topic to get through all of them. And I think he meant that you were active on the board while the topic was going on while he was not. I think that's what he's trying to say. But I could be wrong...

If I do, it's from skimming posts not necessarily skipping the post due to the writer.
But generally no, unless a topic has heaps of posts I try to read most if I'm going to post in it.
