So, you're a hero who's a fair way through your quest. You've slain fire-breathing dragons, or assassinated mob bosses, or torn apart an army base filled with hostile aliens. You've cut a swath through the land, slaughtering anything or anyone who gets in your way and spit in the face of impossible odds. You're well on your way to finishing the job, when you need a favor. Anybody who knows who you are should be too grateful or too scared to turn you down, right? Wrong!

Hunter ditches Spyro for Bianca, in the epilogue of the Year Of The Dragon cut scenes.

Spyro generally finds 80% of the dragon eggs (on his own) -- either way, regardless of the romance between the two.

There is no other playable character in the Spyro games (at least not in the first two games in the series anyway) so since it is called Spyro The Dragon? Spyro does the work for everyone.

Top five duelist and Kaiba still gives him shit even though he did put up a good fight against him. Heck they don't even give him props for essentially BEATING Yami Marik. Fuck you Kaiba he won that, don't give me that "he's disqualified because he passed out due to magic horseshit just as he declared the winning move" bullshit. You just didn't want him getting Ra. Most others also underestimate him despite how much he's proven himself throughout the series.

Dovhakiin (Skyrim) -- at least in Oblivion, people know who you were, even when another dude is ultimately the one who saves the world, but nobody gives a **** in Skyrim.
Maya (Borderlands 2) -- Lilith better not go anywhere near the control nest because she's a siren. The city of Sanctuary was rescued by a siren. But nobody notices Maya, and some of the characters even address the player in speeches that clearly refer to them as male, despite Maya being the only (original) female character.
Luigi (Mario games) -- duh.
