They usually get publicly destroyed for making calls that aren't conservative, even if they're the right calls. They ***** out of it.

I want to know this too! I had written it off after Aaron's exit in the 2nd but... somehow. Just wow.

I guess having a QB that can use real magic and the fact that the Bears Still Suck combined got us the W. Amazing.

The majority of Trubisky's throws on that last drive were horrendous and not even close to target. Rodgers just had to get pissed and go into ragemode there.

Sad they didn't cover though, that basically kills me in spread as I was riding the Pack hard this week.

you know i didn't think about it way, but they wouldn't actually have even needed the TD to make a huge gain in win probability. there'd be less than 30 seconds left even if they just did 3 more runs before kicking the field goal.

granted, it doesn't matter how low the clock gets if you give up a TD in one play <_<

I was watching Clay throughout the game. I saw him giving up on so many plays. The few times he doesn't give up, he just blindly throws himself at someone completely guessing. One play he missed both the QB and RB and just ran into nothing.

This guy is a cancer to our team and needs to be demoted.

Yep, it always blows my mind how bad NFL coaches are at time management toward the end of close games. Like I'll understand the thought that if they get a first down the game is over and running it 3 times prob doesn't do that but if that is your plan then going for it on 4th and 1 should be even more a given.

Also I always find it funny when you look at win probability and that kicking that field goal even if you make it lowers your win probability just because of how dumb it is.

With that loss, Matt Nagy has lost back-to-back games when winning 21-3 and 20-0.

Ugh if Kyle Fuller holds on to that interception, the game is over...

But yeah, Mitch did not look good in the second half. Overthrew Robinson in the endzone, and didn't even throw the one to Cohen when he had a step on an out n up. Defense was too soft in the second half, then when they blitzed, Rodgers burned them. Khalil Mack came as advertised though. Gassed in the 4th Q, and barely knew the playbook, but he still was a monster for most of the game.

Need to show that Mitch can throw more than screens though. On that last field goal drive, he made a couple very nice throws on 3rd and longs. But he's just so inconsistent.
