Seems like none turned on is the best playthrough.

CMV anybody? Not looking for every moment of the game to be a challenging nailbiter -- Just want a balanced experience to play through.

I'm not a fan of having quests in DQ games tbh. Its one blemish on this game imo, id rather those resources went into something else

I can say with utmost confidence, this roulette jackpot sidequest can burn in hell. 10 times now I've been 1 space away. It's both funny and infuriating. Sometimes the wheel will just immediately stop spinning, other times it slowly moves 2-3 spaces away.

I'm fully expecting a troll face to pop up on screen eventually. I hate being a completionist. I would rather every sidequest involving pep powers then this.

Anyone else not see the value in Erik's skill Assassin's Stab? I haven't killed a single thing with it. It costs so many points, too.

It's pretty much the same thing with Demon Spear I think it is. It also has that capability, along with 2 different knives.

I used it like 12 times'n it never did anything so I refunded the points at the church ta put 'em elsewhere

They REALLY dropped the ball with the sidequests lol. Maybe some of the worst ive ever seen. I still think ff15s were worse though

The only super frustrating one are the pep move quest since you have to sync all the needed party members pep.

Still no jackpot. From what I'm seeing if you look at it like a clock, the ball has to hit the slot at exactly the 3:00 position, exactly as it hits that position, or you'll get screwed over by the slow down of doom.

I've got up to Gondolia and the day of the big contest, I've been enjoying the game and finding it quite charming but now it feels like the story is ramping up a bit. The whole sequence with Erik and then Serena pulling the hero by the hand was pretty cool, made me like both characters a lot more
