I live quite close to it, am reasonably well-travelled, but I've never been south of the equator. Then I started looking and seeing just how little there actually is down there - and I don't mean that like "it's crap", I mean it like "there physically aren't that many countries down there". Like I was convinced Thailand was, and it isn't. Thought India might dip into it, it doesn't. Thought Sri Lanka definitely would, it doesn't. Anyway I digress. Have you, and if so, where? There are relatively few destinations to visit there. Doesn't help that most of those places are underdeveloped. I would love to visit NZ and Patagonia at some point, though.
