Like many people, there was a time when I didnt realize how important it is for gay couples to have the right to get married. But after hearing from my gay friends and learning more about the hardships they faced because of discrimination, it became clear to me that everyone should be able to marry the person they love.

And if a person is trans that doesnt make them automatically more deserving of respect as opposed to other people. Character is what matters when it comes to how people should be treated, and anyone that treats others in a decent manner will be called or referred to by just about whatever theyd like by me.

But you cant reasonably compel other people to conform to a view if you cant properly explain it to them respectfully based on the terms they value, which for many people is science. You have to let people ask questions and voice their own views.
