I'm only 21, I don't feel like going bald just yet. I've only been thinning out for a few months so I should be back to normal within a few months.

I'm pretty sure Rogaine and other home treatments are bullshit. Same thing with penis enlargement. You basically need some type of surgery for either of those to actually work. The "men's wellness" industry or whatever you wanna call it is a scam.

At least, so they say, but maybe they do something since they manage to still exist after all these years. Or it could be placebo effect, but it's hard to imagine that working on something visually noticeable.

Nah rogaine does legit help with hair growth but your hair will fall out when you discontinue use and the medication has its own risks

penis enlargement def doesn't work

but rogaine sort of does

it's just the drug minoxidil, and it was originally to treat high blood pressure

but then they discovered that, especially in women, it caused them to just grow hair like cousin it. it like widens the hair follicle and promotes some whatever to be there idfk, but it does work

the con is that it doesn't always work, and if it does, you have to use it forever, and even then all it does is slow down the balding process. you will still eventually go bald

rogaine definitely works. A qualified doctor would never prescribe penis enlargement things. Pretty much any dermatologist will tell you that rogaine works.

Bosley is hair surgery, where they take the healthy "permanent" hair in the back of head, and transplant it somewhere else. It then grows by itself and is permanent.

Isn't it crazy how we haven't cured baldness yet? Seems like something that could be fixed with minimal research. It's an extremely common and predictable phenomenon that has literally millions of people waiting to pay good money for a cure.

My hairline pushed back at the temples when I was 21, but hasn't moved since (I'm now 26). I have a cowlick on my crown that is undoubtedly very early balding but it seems to not be changing either.

I'll consider Rogaine someday when it is more clearly balding, but definitely stay the hell away from Finasteride pills. I've heard stories of permanent erectile dysfunction, not even treatable with Viagra, coming from the use of that.

According to my dermatologist, it actually does work with receding hairlines but rogaine is only effective within a certain period of time. It can only regain hair that was lost in the past six months and a receding hairline isn't as noticeable as a bald spot.

Both of those articles explicitly state it was not done in human trials, but in a lab with samples. It does not mean that it will work in an actual human trial, and even if it does, it does not mean that there aren't other side effects that would bar it from being approved.

Baldness is actually a symptom of aging, stem cells lose their ability to make new hair follicles as your chromosomes decompose from the outside in.

If no one has cured it, it might be because no one wants to be responsible for curing the aging process. I've always wondered if a virus could be engineered to replace the ends of your chromosomes. That makes me want to buy a DNA preservation kit, I'd want to come back to being 23.

Not necessarily. As TC noticed, he's losing a lot of hair at age 21. It's too much of a certain type of testosterone protein for early-onset hair loss for men that is the cause.
