If Red was town I think at least someone would see that and would be fighting for him to stay in the game. But this reminds me of the game I was scum with him where everyone just called him scum every time they brought him up. He lived till like day 4 or 5 in that game despite that which was funny

I believe that Zach is aggressive, and slightly cocky, but firmly Town for me. He reminds me a little of Terra before he started mellowing out, and I've not seen anything from him that makes me want to lynch him. Is Zach somewhat new as well? Sorry I keep asking stuff like this, it's just a bit awkward to keep up with guys I don't recognise. He just strikes me as fairly new Town who's a decent enough player but easily set off and thinks he's a bit better than he is.

I feel like when everyone calls someone Scum, they tend to be. There's often not much for others to defend them with and they're less likely to try and make a case for themselves compared to Town. I also think it would be a death sentence to try to save Red, considering if he gets lynched you'll look realllly bad as scum if you're the only one defending him (assuming in this instance he is indeed scum).

I think this is his fourth or fifth game. I've only seen his scum game once late in a game we both replaced into (PW mafia, where he eventually won by persuading some idiot to believe him), been town with him in Blade mafia, was scum while he was town in Puns' mafia. Those two games were simultaneous, and it frustrated me a lot because seeing him in Puns' game and knowing he was town, his behavior was so starkly different than when he was scum that I knew for sure very early in Blade mafia that he was town, but couldn't explain it because it involved an ongoing game. It's possible he's learned how his town play looks and knows to emulate it as scum, but I don't think anyone has pointed it out until I did in this game. Over-confidence and crankiness when pressured seem like very town traits from him.

I felt day on day 1 he was probably arrogant, naive town, by thinking he was confirmed.

I have historically done a poor job of reading red. Last game i would have sworn he was scum after i got lynched and i was wrong as usual.
Im willing to accept the consensus regarding him so i would be willing to lynch him tomorrow, but as far as im concerned we have Sultan dead to rights and i don't see how his supposed action would interact in any beneficial way tonight with our mason plan.

Also if Sultan let it be known that his intention was to fake claim BG that would explain Zam's reaction to Ben.

I think Occulam's Razor says that Sultan is Scum. That would be unfortunate for Zach though, as he wouldn't be able to yell at me about all my reads being wrong anymore.

2. Red is not playing like someone who is very invested in the game. Feels like he's playing more out of commitment than real interest. I could believe Scumred would get unmotivated by Zam and then Leo falling one by one.

...that's actually something I didn't really consider, and I'm not sure why. If we lynch Sultan and he flips scum doc, that pretty heavily cements Zach as Town. If we're lynching them, Sultan comes first.

However, as I think I've said before, I would much rather pick Red because I think the night will sort out the whole Sultan issue. Zach isn't even a moderately acceptable lynch as it stands though, so we're getting Sultan instead if we go that route rather than the one I'd like to take.

I've seen it before, albeit rarely. It's a way to indicate to scum that a vig (or SK, as the game which I recall seeing it in had) exists, and to stop them being hit by it. It's also basically just a minimal more powerful goon, and can also help look good to watchers. All of this adds up to a few points against Sultan.

I mentioned this when I voted him. Almost everyone was saying they didn't like Red but there was never any real momentum on him. I think regardless of his alignment we should look at votes that feel tacked on more than anything else, aka "follower" votes.

I think lynching sultan is a horrible choice today.

We should lynch unclaimed and unscanned.

If you think leaving scanner claims live for a night to sort themselves a bit more makes sense, how does leaving a BG claim alive as well to potentially guard them not also make sense?

Not to mention the sheer insanity that would be necessary to claim the way he did as scum. More likely that our protection is JK, BG, BG, and Panth is scum, but why rush it?

I agree that Zach isn't even a potential target for today. Was just important to comment on his claim as it happened.

I've been vocal in multiple posts that I want to figure out Panthera/Sultan. I'm almost positive that I'm going to vote Sultan, but I'd like to see votals before I do so.

I agree with the logic that everyone seems to dislike Red, and he hasn't really been very inspiring, but I'm not sure I'm as enthusiastic as Puns is about getting information from him post death. The reason most people aren't liking Red is specifically his non-content.
