I do like this thinking, but our scanning roles (presumably Zach and Tony) have apparently got bugger all yet. For that reason, I don't want to claim yet. Scum could risk killing or blocking me, but then I could be Vanilla trying to draw exactly that. Or they could leave me alone completely, and leave me open to use whatever I have while still not being able to kill a minimum of one of Tony/Zach, leaving even more scanners alive.

I responded to it already.

I thought Tony and Zach were Scum. I thought Zam was Town. Especially with team "anti-Zam" being Tony and Zach, I was pretty set.

But then I actually realized Tony was counter-claiming and then Zam claimed Scum and I had to admit I was wrong.

Also Sultan putting Death and Crescent in his Town list was interesting. Can't believe I gave him an easy out for one by forgetting FD but to be fair aside from his one activity rant and his lynch overturn I can't remember much from him.

If Tony and Zach are town, and Ed is town (all very plausible) AND you are town, then I can pretty much promise you that scum isn't gonna be fucking with you night 3. This becomes even more true if EITHER of Sultan or Panth is town.

For you to not claim, imo, is selfish and poor teamwork. We are ahead, it's not time to play hero. It's time to increase clarity on the situation. Knowledge is scum's only real advantage right now.

I get what you're saying Puns, but I'm not trying to play hero. My first instinct when I saw my role PM was to not claim my role yet, and I stand by that for now. I'll... consider it. I need to mull over the pros and cons. Voting for me or threatening to lynch me won't change my mind on claiming either way, so don't bother unless you genuinely do think I'm scum in about 5-6 hours.

I just want to take a second to say, if Sultan hinted being the same role as Corrik, then alley ooped Corrik to kill Panth, then killed Corrik who would flip his actual claimed town role, then went through with lying about being that same role with Corrik already confirmed, and also a role which also somewhat shouldn't exist with the role Panth has claimed, and Sultan is Scum and Panth is town, I will be flabbergasted. Literally.

Best thing to do would be for Panth to recruit someone whose type of input cant be easily faked.

This is my issue. If Panth is scum he's probably Jack. Or, very unlikely, but he and Ed could both be scum, with one being Jack and one full-time blocker. As I said, though, very unlikely

You should know that Panth dies if he recruits scum (allegedly). So I'd rather he recruit someone else, so we get 2 possible townies at the same time.
I will say that recruiting FD eliminates any scumshootingPanth shenanigans. But I doubt scum wants to shoot Panth.

I did mention in my reply to Sheep that I remember liking Red's early day 2 when he was posting someehat actively. If everyone is thinking he's scum, that may be the period of time to review for actual opinions coming from him.

Basically boils down to risk/reward and the fact I just have slightly more paranoia about misreading red than I do the others. I mean really of the ones I listed I would only want to lynch Tange primarily, but I would not by default suspect people for wanting to lynch the other two. I doubt they are all scum, but it makes for healthier discussion when there are dissenting opinions.

And nothing is really derivative of your actions because I've barely paid attention to anything you said, honestly. >_> I didn't read any of the MZero stuff.

Also, I don't remember how Mafia works. Is kill resolved last? So if scum shoots Jailkeeper, does Jailkeeper die with or without protect/roleblocking?

Kill is resolved last with few exceptions, yeah. All protecting/roleblocking roles should go before it.

Every action resolved at the same time, a kill doesnt stop an effect or power. For scanners it merely gets in the way of talking about their results.

Kill is resolved last with few exceptions, yeah. All protecting/roleblocking roles should go before it.
