I guess I shouldn't have expected Freya to last that long either, but we dodge a bullet as she's JUST outside the top ten. How much longer will it remain intact however. Let's see if we can finish five rounds in a single day!

Rules:

- You personally (No bots/scripts/lending of accounts) can save 1 character per hour.
- A character needs 1 vote to be saved.
- 1 unique user needs to save a character for that character to be saved.
- Ambiguous (i.e. "Cid" or "Cloud") or "If X, then Y" saves will not count.

6. Sazh Katzroy

I'm actually kinda surprised to see Sazh out so early, given that he did well in the first few rounds. But yeah, Sazh has had a massive rise for me after actually finishing Final Fantasy 13. I've always had a soft spot for father figure characters in fiction, but there aren't a lot in Final Fantasy that would actually qualify as decent characters. You either have villains, or your have invisidads, or you have Barret, who I just don't like because he feels like a stereotype of what Square thought of black people back in the mid-90s. Sazh though, his race does make him a more interesting character to me, honestly. Not because the game plays up his race, but because they DON'T. He's just a normal character, and he could've been a different race and had no real change to his personality. And I appreciate that. I appreciate that sort of writing for PoCs (and unrelated to Sazh, but LGBTQ characters as well.)

But in terms of actual character, like I said, I love Sazh as a dad, and I love the fact that he's so conflicted over the course of the game. By all rights, he deserves to be pissed at Vanille for ruining his life, and if not that, he deserves to succumb to depression. Yet he doesn't. He rises above the obvious choices of emotion in order to be a strong, brave character that forges his own path. That's really awesome to me.
