What I remember about Sunhawk...

He'd just post a lot of shit about movies he watched and liked.
I feel like people knew his name for a while, then kinda turned on him, cause CE does that eventually.

Now he's back mentioning about how other people are a mess.

Don't get me wrong though, he's still better than these new era shit posters by a mile.

I don't remember him ever getting into trouble.

In my early years I was primarily on FF boards, or secret music boards. LUE too.

I remember AskMyselfWhy / Stretched_Lobes alwayz made topic about "Moe's Mondays" at the Moe's Southwest Grill, and always spend money on collector's edition of games and would unbox them for CE. He had huge gauges in his ear lobes>_>

I remember going to a couple spinoff board sites. One which was run by Peter Griffin and several others who were active in 02 and 03.

Also playing Gunbound with peeps on CE. That was actually pretty fun

I remember a topic I made, and I got to something like 495 posts, and then a mod locked it to be funny. Crazy.

All those users from way back when. KatThePoet, who was really popular, and eventually a mod; Trahald of Stoor, who got banned on that day that the mods couldn't moderate anything, and then they got the ability back; TheVoice, who was pretty odd, and one of the least popular people on the board; GregNorc, who XSquader / Dawkins hated, and to be honest, most other people hated too; the 4 horsemen, chickenboy, Starvin_Marvin, Narcoleptic Monkey, and technocloak; Notorious SpiGGY, who annoyed a lot of people, but they still spoke to him; Mattman5, who was a cool guy, but only posted for about a year.

So many interesting posters. It's a shame we don't have many like it nowaways, although there are certainly still a few "stand out" people who post.

I had basically forgotten about TheVoice for years, but then I thought of him. He was very strange, he was obsessed with the site, and random things on it. He was hated by almost everyone, although he never really trolled or flames anyone. I remember at one point he pretended to be deaf. There was another time when he bragged about how great he would be at online Super Smash Brothers (this was some kind of PC fanhack), and then he didn't do very well. He left at some point, and I don't think he ever came back.

The female posters were often the best, though. Cassie, Kassie, Flawless_Lee, ChristinaVidal. They caused so many problems, but people still wanted to speak to them. It was like moths to a flame. Shame most people wouldn't remember them these days.

She posted, I dunno, late 2000s. I don't remember much about her, but the male posters seemed to like her quite a lot (although not like the other girls I mentioned in that same post). I remember, for a long time I thought she was actually called ChristinaVidal in real life, but then someone explained that it was just the name of some singer, or something.

I don't think she had scandals like the other girls did. I mean, pretty much every one of them had something stupid happen, like the semi-nude pictures of Cassie, but I don't think she did.

I remember the early days of XSquader, long before he started recording everything and kept going to prison, when he claimed he could beat up his grandmother, and throw a bus or something through the air. He was a lot more fun back then, now, he's mostly annoying. Although people respond as much as they ever did, if not more.

He was hilarious back then, and we also had everyone hating on duckbear and Doodleheimer. They really were personalities, unlike the mostly bland people we seem to get these days. People got so annoyed with them.

I don't remember a whole lot concerning drama. I mostly lurked back in the day and visited quite a few other social boards. The paranormal board was a ton of fun before the hardcore skeptics ruined it. Sillyknees singlehandedly destroyed that board and then migrated to CE with some high level trolling but eventually got flushed out.

I'm very interested in modern history, mostly the 20th century, but I've never known CE to take much interest in history. I think a lot of people find history boring. I used to, when I was at secondary school, and for quite a few years afterwards, as well.

You know, Ivaneede, I'm not sure if I ever saw them. Of course, for me, that would be 4am or 5am (I think), and I've rarely been on CE at that hour, if ever.

But you DID remind me of Anyone Up?, by Kildread2, which was enormously popular circa 2003. It often got hundreds of posts a day. I remember, a few years back someone else tried to do it, I don't really remember when, but it maybe got a few dozens posts a day, if that. I can't imagine many people would even remember Kildread2, anyway. There are so few of the really early posters left on CE. ;_;

bookwormbabe was an interesting poster, maybe 5 years ago, maybe more recently. She was a intersex former hooker, which was kinda crazy. I think she got thrown out by her parents when she was 16, and had to support herself. Also, as the name clearly suggests, she read quite a lot, which was unusual for this board. I don't think people became obsessed with her like they did with stupidness_blah, or KassiePlx, though.

Kildread2 was pretty much from the first wave of CE regulars. I expect he posted since the month the board was created. There were some people who started posting so early. I suspect people like CVagts, CyricZ, and Trahald of Stoor.

I wonder if there are any archives, or screenshots of the CE in 1999 - 2001 (I think)? There might still be some. I missed those days.

CE has certainly had some attractive girls, though. I always thought Cassie was very good-looking; FlawlessLee was very nice, before she went blonde. Kassie was, uh...nothing special. I would say nay to her. crud pickle had a really good body, but unattractive face. I can't remember the others that well.
