we all should really be addressing the whataboutism with clinton because it is not just disingenuous

clinton "conspired" to compile legal opposition research that had been initiated by other GOP presidential candidates

trump "conspired" to illegally hack the database used by his political opponent

it is not conspiracy if the action associated with the conspiracy is legal.

Makes sense. A Bulgarian white nationalist trump supporter I know on another board once claimed that conspiracy wasn't a thing. The context was that he was claiming that a person can't be arrested in America for paying a hit man (who turned out to be undercover cop) to kill someone if the target is not actually attacked. People explained the actual crime "conspiracy to commit murder" and he vehemently denied that was real because "no such thing as thought crime."
