Speaking of. I downloaded all of dragonball z and I forgot how many GD episodes there are, even without including the other series +movies

I started watching Sword Art Online cc: @Ultima_Dragoon and it's awesome because the idea for the show is kind of genius but like 16 episodes in I can feel the entire show destroying itself and becoming awful but I still badly want to keep watching and I want to talk about it all the time. That's what being an anime guy is all about

Ok I thought you were making fun of me but now I see the issue. You think it's an anime based on a game, right? It's not. It's about people who play a fictional mmo. All I'll say is that the people who buy the game at launch may get a little more than they bargained for.....

I think they made games based on the anime but the premise also sounds like those old .hack games.

I haven't heard good things about SAO, but I like stuff like Naruto which people hate, so maybe I would like SAO too.

Last week, I watched Violet Evergarden on Netflix. It's probably the best looking animation I've seen but the story was kinda slow. There's only 13 episodes and a couple of them were extremely sad (one actually almost got me to cry), but it was a fine show overall.

This is the hardest I've gotten owned in a while in this topic but luckily I was behaving so sincerely that you became owned by guilt.

I was just scrolling through anime on Netflix and picked this one because it was cool gamer shit but I was really loving it for like 10 episodes. It's definitely more Naruto than like Death Note or whatever but I didn't think it was too awkward to watch until the end of the first arc. I wish it had delivered on its premise better because when it's just main dude running around in the game by himself it's so good and so true to online video games

Apparently the lynx barely made the playoffs and got eliminated in a single elimination playoff wild card thing last night. What a joke team. I'm burning all my lynx jerseys and never watching the team again

Okay I thought I'd be happy about the Dodgers losing but it's basically just getting sad at this point. The D-Backs are the real threat for now and no matter how much the Rockies win they never seem to make up any ground

This time I was actually surprised to check the score and see the Cards won again (obviously I don't stay up all night for these West coast games until the playoffs)

Kenley Jansen came off the DL for this series and took two losses

The Rockies called up Holliday in time to play the Cardinals.

I'm really not looking forward to facing them. The Rockies have been really hot lately but the Cardinals have been practically unbeatable. Obviously the Holliday secret intel will be a huge boost

I'm not sure what to expect. Our pitching has been getting pretty lucky and Mikolas at Coors might go poorly, plus Flaherty just pitched so you don't have to worry about him. It should be interesting though, they're both good but weird teams and they both are actually in the thick of it.

Eh. I feel like the Rockies are a good team to beat the Cards 2 out of 3. A sweep in LA is cool enough to feel like the end of this streak where they win every series.

Man, they're moving Holliday right into the starting lineup. At left field. Uh he didn't even play left last year and I read he was playing first in AAA. The Rockies also have a lefty on the mound today, so this should be interesting...

My favorite kind of coworker is the one who freaks out over every single thing that happens. The girl I share an office with actually yelled "NO!" because I emailed the VP asking for his help with something that she had already done and not told me about. I had asked the accountant and he said contact the VP so I did.

At my job the thing my managers/bosses struggle with most is gauging how long to schedule meetings for. If I bet 1 million dollars that any given meeting would go over the scheduled time, I would be right for every one ofthe dozens and dozens I've gone to.
If they schedule a 20 minute meeting, it's going to be 30-40 or more, guaranteed.
I'd really like to go eat lunch than be here 20 minutes extra for something that doesn't even really apply to me, and should have just been an email in the first place!

The next meeting I go to that couldn't have been handled over email will be the first.

I have a meeting tomorrow but the guy is bringing donuts in so it's good. Another guy brought a cake. Food is the only reason why you would need to meet face to face

I hope they're all gluten free....

It took me almost all of August but I finally beat Earthbound

That game is: good

I thought there was some rough stuff to the gameplay, but it's an interesting experience

Remember when I bought a Switch and was all excited to actually be playing new games when they came out? I've realized lately that I've fallen way behind on Switch games, sadly, but I haven't really felt a strong enough need to buy new stuff. And then I just realized a moment ago that I don't think I've even bought a single Switch game this year. There might have been something in January but that would've been just leftover Xmas money

(insert joke about how the Switch doesn't have new games anyway)

Also stuff like Skyrim and Doom is still $60 which is annoying. I thought we wouldn't have to deal with this bullshit on third-party games but Nintendo's pricing seems to have seeped in there

Actually, all the ones I've played have been decent and satisfying in the end, but I find the act of playing them annoying, if that makes any sense. Too much fluff and believe me I'm a very busy man

I loved the first like 10 or 12 episodes. I can get an official count if you want. The latter half of the first season was appalling and got worse as it went. I might watch the second season at some point though. Apparently it's better. And who am I kidding

Edit; it's separated into two separate shows on Netflix, that's why I said I "finished" it despite having SOA 2 unwatched

I had a dream last night that I took off my shirt and I looked at the tag and it was a Big Baller Brand shirt. I was surprised at how comfortable it was.

Wow that's crazy. Binding of isaac rebirth is $15 on steam and goes on sale for more than 50% off all the time

I think I remember stardew valley switch price being the same as the steam price

Binding of Isaac is totally worth $15. Especially the Afterbirth version.
