Can someone give me the link to meta snapshots and tier lists?

We're going to need a new topic soon and I'd like to expand the opening post to include some more useful information.

Currently I have Toast's meta ranking:

First brawl attempt: Control Warlock. 10-3.

Losses were to a zoolock I just drew badly against; a Rogue where I had two Demonic Projects in hand but I thought he was tempo when he was actually combo "whoops" (in my defense: he also had 13 cards left in deck); and a Zoo that had to topdeck Lifedrinker, tap into Soulfire, and then not discard his second Soulfire with his first one because of course he didn't deliberately go for that out...

Still, got 375 gold and a Zilliax so I guess I'll deal ^_^ Also, I sacrificial pact'd Jaraxus 3 times. Never gets old~

4-0 start in the Brawliseum so far with Togwaggle Druid.

I have encountered

Spiteful Druid
Zoo Warlock
Odd Rogue
Zoo Warlock

as my 4 opponents, and was never in much serious danger of losing. The new setup for Togwaggle/Azalina with the Florist is honestly so strong. Unlike the previous twig setup it is guaranteed to work the way you want. It runs almost no minions though so if I run into demonology project I will just lose unless I have some kind of Spreading Plague -> +Damage play.

Beat Secret Hunter for 5-0 in what was actually a very interesting game. It came down to the wire and the right sequence of build-a-beast might have stole a win for him, but I held on.

Then I beat Control Priest for 6-0. At first I was really worried it was one of the OTK priest varients. I didn't draw any of my ramp right away he drew into his draw engines immediately. But then he drew to 9 cards so I used naturalize to burn 2, one of which was Alexstrazsa. This told me it was a standard priest list so I pivoted to a maximum armor strategy while I waited to draw through my deck. But when I dropped Florist he realized I was togwaggle and he accelerated towards the end of his deck as well. When I finally reached my Tog/Azalina turn he only had 2 cards left in his deck so I was only slightly ahead in fatigue, but I was around 60 effective HP and his paltry attempts to chip away at me with DK Anduin were not enough.

I went 3-3 with spell Hunter. All 3 wins were against other hunters and all three losses were to frost lich Jaina. But I've won like 10 in a row with this deck playing standard to jump from 14 to 11.

I've been out all day so I haven't gotten a chance to try the Arena Brawl, but I'm probably going to go with Even Warlock since I just built it and have been having decent success with it on ladder.

Went 7-3 losses were zoo (had a double infusion on doubling imp and I could not deal with it), even warlock (unfavorable), and dr hunter (mech version. I lost a 50/50 at the end.

Think I'm 5-1 so far on Even Shaman with Stormforged Axe teched in. I'm not running Stormforged Axe on ladder, but I expected a lot of aggro, and it crushes aggro matches (so many 2 health minions it can kill; I've killed a Zilliax on turn 5 with an axe I played on like turn 2).

It is really bad against control, though (which is my one loss so far; Control Priest, where like...I had to pass with mana open instead of play stormforged axe so that I wouldn't overload myself on turn 7 and be unable to play Lich King. But he saved Anduin when he could have played it the previous turn so...yeah, got wrecked).

The ONLY relevant factor is RNG, which needs to be removed from the game entirely. It is indefensible beyond all measure to have such complete and total garbage in any games design.

I love picking Mukla and burning cards against combo decks.

I actually seriously wonder if it's worth putting Mukla into decks as a tech card right now. It does disrupt combos (if timed right it stops C'Thun decks from comboing off; they basically have to spend a full turn casting bananas on your minions). Probably aren't enough combo decks to justify it.

Looks like a pretty good example of skill coming into play. Opponent recognized that this was the option that would ruin your combo, and that it was the one way they could do so. Might very well have been their only possible out. Smart of them to recognize it.

Bah, ended 5-3. And the frustrating part is that I definitely should have won one of those, I just made a pretty key error by not attacking off a divine shield the turn before my opponent dropped double fungalmancer.

Went 12-1 in the Brawliseum with Evenlock running no new cards! Pretty good for someone who hasn't played Standard seriously in at least two expansions. Seems like an ok deck.

Game 7 was against Control Warlock.

They either did not run or did not draw combo interruption. They tried to get Rin off, but Togwaggle is too fast. 7-0

Game 8 was against Odd Paladin.

I kept spreading plague on mulligan and they were running some weird mech stuff that didn't do much. 8-0.

The pursuit of 12-0 will continue tomorrow.

Been playing some whizbang on Asia

Like its newb ranks but Im still running into meta decks. Its just these players are really bad. This one paladin didnt trade a buffed dude (from raid leader) into a knife juggler and its like... Im pretty sure thats not the right play.

No, every single deck is degenerate. Every single deck proves that Hearthstone has no skill component. Every single deck proves that without mechanics factoring in skill for wins and losses (sideboards, ladder bans, good tutors, player interaction, the removal of RNG, patching things for balance immediately instead of waiting a year).

Every single decision made by the worst company in gaming history is trash.

Personally, more tutoring is about the last thing I want in any card game I played. Part of what I liked to begin with was that there was no tutoring. Sadly, that's no longer the case, and that's what's led to a lot of the degenerate garbage that currently exists.

5-3 with Even Warlock. Lost to Zoo and DR Hunter that both got the nuts with Keleseth into double Fungalmancer and Egg into double proc into Cube.

Then I lost to a Druid deck that I literally have never seen before. I got hit with Living Mana into double Mulchmuncher which is apparently a card that exists and I was not prepared for it.

I had like full health and my opponent played some sorta deathrattle blowing itself up chain and then I died

and with that I am 1-3 in this Brawl and good for another couple weeks break

Newb ranks are really low skill on NA too. Like...I haven't played Wild in a season or two, which means if I do play I'm like rank 20, and I can queue up old decks I never updated and win 5 games in a row.

Thats a druid card.

Look up Mecha'Thun OTK Priest.

Its actually a nifty little combo, but unless you are warlock with demonic project your only chance is to smorc them before they get there. Its rough :/

So...put together most of the pieces of a deathrattle hunter, crafted some cubes, put in the 2/2 that summons the 7/7, eggs, terrorscale stalker, play dead, fireworks tech. Figured...ok, maybe I lose to aggro, but I will never lose a value game, LMAO so much value.

Then I queued into a deck that played Frost Lich Jaina on turn 9, and I immediately lost the value game. (Like...not even big spell mage, it was just elemental mage).

Frost Lich Jaina is a good card, kids.

I liked the idea of Jaina when the DK set came out. Then it didn't do really well at first, and I kinda shrugged it off. I crafted it later, but I don't play mage very often any more. It's a perfectly understandable choice to be a favorite card, though.
