The main comic book ranking type thing I'd be interested in reading from you would be like... top X comic book story arcs or something, if that kinda thing interests you to talk about. Mostly because as a very casual comic book reader at best, being told by a guy who has some depth there "these are the cream of the crop" would actually possibly spur me into reading some comics.

User nominated would be less interesting there because I'm not confident users would nominate the interesting ones for you to rank. Maybe some user interaction in nominating some to talk about to supplement your ranking.

Of course some manner of fanfiction is cool too but yeah.

I did a Top 100 Marvel characters ranking, and I never did that for DC!

DC is the top and bottom of the comic bell curve because they are more creator driven and experimental. Marvel is more about universal cohesion and brand prioritization, so it is the entirety of the middle of the comic bell curve.
