He does things with no purpose.
He lies about things for no reason.

If you want me to think you are town then you need to NOT do those things and demonstrate an ability to play above a first grade level. You don't get to just do those things and say "well hey, it's what I do".

BUT I don't want this entire day to be about that, I just want my feelings on Zam to be properly noted and I will be putting time into looking at other things.

And I haven't put any serious walls up yet because dinner and youtube distractions. I'm just glad I left work before midnight tonight. It was only slightly terrible at work instead of worst day ever status like it's been the previous two nights.

Noted... and I'll be watching you as well, however I think Nana is center of attention still.

However, let's look at nana from different perspective. What if he's telling the truth? Then what?

I'm not defending him rather trying to figure out the game, from a different perspective.

Ok so unless his style radically changed over the last two years, I think Plum dying means either Blade isnt scum, or someone with a similarly strong will is scum with him and overruled.

Plum kill over Blade/Chris/Red/probably power Jack means scum is probably trying to sow confusion.

I say not Blade, because when we were scum together, I specifically wanted to kill based on confusing Town, and he berated me and instead we killed, I think Chris.

What advantage would he have as scum to draw attention to the very thing you're calling him out on now?

Being consistently reasonable is perfectly null for me. I rarely forget anything I've previously said

In fact inconsistency is probably more of a town lean for me, because I would be more likely to forget something as town.

Also you answered your own question. Plum was a pretty good "Why the **** did they kill that guy?" choice.

Like just to give you an example, in ME2 Mafia my flavor was "Jack" and I had no idea my character was actually a female.

When I claimed and specifically called my character a male I was immediately townread for making a natural mistake scum Blade would never have thought of faking.

Null tell. If I'm scum, scum doesn't want me lynched so someone [not even necessarily me] would have insisted on a Starscream lynch. If I'm Town, SCum insist on a Starscream lynch because they for sure are lynching Town power and can still push a ML on me later

What we have is basically two scenarios.

Scum shot plum only is basically eliminated because who the fuck does that.

So you have scum shot someone else got blocked and shot plum too far a safe kill.

Or sk shot plum and scum got a kill blocked.

I'm not comfortable at all thinking scum intended plum to be a lone kill. Makes no sense.

The problem I still have, red, is your thinking seems to be a lot less crisp than last game. Like I am not letting this go and you are going to answer me. Why did you express suspicion based on people being alive, and then note a kill was blocked. Now there is a reasonable answer here which I came to on my own, and if that is your answer it's ok. This isn't a gotcha question, but you need to answer.

Also how nice would it be to play in a mafia game where scum doesn't have a 'fuck you' button to kill whomever they want night 1? That'd be nice.

And where does examining this line of thought take you?

Scenario 1: There's an SK. Which means what, 4 scum and 1 sk? Scum could be totally out of luck with that one after day 2. (Scum Lynch, SK kill, Scum Lynch, SK Kill). I mean it'd take incredible luck on town's part, but still has to be considered for balance purposes. 5 scum is too many, 3 scum is even fewer.

Scenario 2: Scum used a kill, protection intervened. Not really worth thinking about much at the moment. Especially because...

Scenario 3: Scum used a delayed kill (such as poison).

And that's assuming that scum does have an extra kill, and didn't just kill Plum to make it hard for town to meta who would be killed, or any other number of reasons scum might have killed him. Including a power read.

Anyway Nana are you going to spend all game going after the newest possible players or are you going to actually put a vote and a case on someone with any amount of experience? Because I see reasons for you to be town - your claim about eod is so insane that it almost has to be true, and the votals don't leap to me as 'scum nana for sure' unless we've got some specific combos of scum teams going on but you've been going after the low hanging fruit of which I also think they are town. Like, if you're town you are playing really poorly and you need to stop.

You realize Blade if we are both town it is the opposite of weird that us having similar observations is something that happens, right? You actually seem more invested than any time I can recall early game (which scares me a bit btw) but when you're focused you're almost as good as I am as town, just minus the OVERWHELMING CHARISMA AND STAMINA that are my hallmarks.

Also Ashe 4 + 1 is a thing for sure, balance wise. Usually give Scum a BP or something in that scenario.

We've had games where they dont necessarily have an unblockable kill.

But i honestly think 99% of the games on b8 have given scum at least an extra kill.

Also FD is probably right about Tony. There are players who could fake what Tony did, he isn't one of them in my estimation.

Sure, but then add in Dizzy too? I mean technically that could redirect scum's kill back at them. I mean it'd be an unlikely shot, but it's possible. Town lynches the Bulletproof Scum day 1, Redirects Scum's kill back to them (highly unlikely, but still technically possible) plus a kill from the SK. That's 3/4ths of the scum team dead by day 2.

In any case, I'm not sure where this line of thinking really gets us. Scum killed Plum, and that's all we really know about what they did at present.
