That is definitely not the OP theme used in the original PC version

I've been rereading the Steam release with a friend who's playing the game blind and it played Majo to Suiri no Rondo for Eps 1, 2, and 3, but it played the original Umineko no Naku Koro ni (the song/OP by that name) for Ep 4. It played Occultics no Majo for Ep 5, so I think Chiru uses all the original OPs. When we started Ep 5, I was a bit concerned it would play Inanna no Mita Yume because that one is SUPER spoilery and I might have made her turn away when it played lol.

That beginning scene with who I assume was young Beatrice and her teacher got me thinking. Would it not be somewhat funny if it turns out that not only is Beatrice not a witch, but she also really THINKS she is a witch. Belief is power after all. Maybe the dynamics between her and Battler would change as Battler slowly starts building up proof of this while Beatrice desperately tries to argue against it.

Ronove is great. He reminds me of Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean.

I agree with this, too. I hated Ep 6 when I first read it, but whenever I reread parts from it, I realize how amazing it was. It might be my favorite now, with 3 and 5 vying for second place.

So the scene with everyone speculating about Kinzo having a mistress, specifically this theory that there's a secret mansion somewhere where a mistress could have lived have given me a bunch of ideas/theories of my own. Hard to really put them down into words because they are just small thoughts.

So Battler is now reacting to scenes that his counterpart isn't a part of. So I guess he can see everything that is going on? Or at least everything the reader sees?

OK, so I theory I have is, this mansion we see in Beatrice's flashbacks is the secret mansion on he island everyone is going on about. Beatrice, the one we know, is actually the daughter of the mistress. That white-haired woman might actually be the real mistress.

This red text seems like a pretty hard counter to theory that anyone else could be the murderder. But the way this is phrased is a little suspicious.

So Kumasawa turns out to be Beatrice's teacher, and the two have a truly indescribable battle. It was revealed earlier that Battler has been seeing all these magical fights, but this one in particular has broken him. What is there even to say to something like that?

I really liked the conversation between Battler and Virgilia here. It even touched on what I was describing before, about how people may try to explain things they don't understand as "magic". Though this conversation took a different turn, into how here multiple truths can exist at the same time.

That's where it leads you, but the riddle of the epitaph doesn't directly have anything to do with the layout of the island. It's possible to work out as of the start of this episode. Though one major part of it is particularly difficult to work out.
